Hello 2023

 Hi Friends!

From my walk  yesterday it was apparent that some people had already started celebrating.
More celebratory litter on my walk today.
The weather on this first day of the new year was very hazy and overcast with a chilly wind blowing through but I still took a couple of walks this afternoon.  I'm determined to walk as much as I can each and every day.

Sending you blessings of love and light and wishes for a healthy, happy new year.

Take care.

Dearest Tammy,
Happy New Year to you both and all yours!
We started out with dense fog here at Sarasota Bay but it turned into a lovely sunny day without any mean wind like the days before.
One more night and I'm heading home with my Pieter.
Big hugs,
Mariette

Happy New Year, Tammy! I have been down with a cold the last couple of days - I feel like a bit of a slug at the moment. No watching the ball drop for me last night! I hope to get out and ski tomorrow. Good luck with your daily walking, my friend!

You are an inspiration to me Tammy! I have gained weight this year and my cholesterol levels can't afford it. I have no excuse. Our new apartment buidling has an exercise room with equipment. Cardio-drumming classes, yoga, etc. All free. As I said, no excuse except I detest sweating. :-) I am going to make an attempt though and DO it. You hold me accountable.
Blessings,
Betsy

Happy New Year, Tammy. I so admire the way you pick up litter everywhere you go. Getting out to walk is sometimes a struggle, but I always feel better after doing so.

Happy New Year Tammy. I am a walker too, and my dog Bounce is my exercise coach since we typically take two walks a day and I tell him I am his exercise coach in return.

Happy New Year, Tammy. If only the people celebrating would put their trash in the proper place :). So good of you to tidy things as you walk. We have a local lady who has taken it upon herself to pick up trash that accumulates along the local roads and highways. I try to do my part when walking too. I wish you luck in meeting your walking goals this year.
