Solstice Salutations

... This is the solstice, the still point
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,

the year’s threshold
and unlocking, where the past
lets go of and becomes the future;
the place of caught breath, the door
of a vanished house left ajar. ...
(Margaret Atwood)

Sending light and love.

Lovely post. I saw this and smiled. Do you realize that every where you go, you leave sunshine behind. Thank you for sharing your world with us. :)

Dearest Tammy,
Yes, the solstice is today and daylight will start to be added from now on.
Hate those dark and dreary days before Christmas.
The entire world needs love and light—lots of light.
Big hugs,
Mariette

Happy winter solstice...starting today (the 22nd), the days will finally start to get longer again! We're in the midst of a snowstorm right now and bitter cold temps. Yuck!

I think Stitchy McFloss said it perfectly: "wherever you go, you leave sunshine behind." Thank you, and I hope you and yours are having a lovely, peaceful, happy Christmas!
