While I am working up an Around a Square Doily posted by Glor at Crochet Galore and having lemon iced tea ...
Jingles is gazing out the window ...
at these two little mourning doves.
They were primping ....
resting ...
eating...
and basically driving her crazy!
And then there were three.
This is the first time I've seen doves actually hang out on the balcony for any length of time. They are certainly keeping Jingles busy!
For more tea participants go to Kimmie's place at Art in Red Wagons and have a terrific Tuesday! Friendship blessings, Tammy

I love to hear morning doves in my yard. For some reason the sound takes me back to my childhood. I think Rhondi is blogging every so often. If you haven't seen her blog lately you should check it out!
I so miss having a cat in my life. They provide hours of entertainment and comfort without many demands of their human. I think the doves were teasing her! Surely they could see her through the window .... And hear her paws batting at the glass :)
Your crochet project looks very relaxing and makes me want to pick up a ball of yarn! Happy tuesday! xoxo, Kimmie
I is such a pleasure to visit your blog for the first time!!
We are owned by two kitties, so I truly enjoyed seeing your Jingles...and the doves!! My youngest kitty spends much of her day "bird watching"! :)
Hope you have a great Monday! dana
It must be driving Jingles crazy - lol...

Hi Tammy, you look very innocent visitor there on your balcony, luckily glass divides a possible seizure and freedom (the kitten was very helpful) I'll tell you that I live in a residential development within a mountain in the country. We are always surrounded by a wide variety of birds. And the birds are singing with her very special song that almost anyone they like, but how are you living in "community" with the other birds, at least I admire them and I have them drinking and eating places. For me to see and that is so relaxing visit me! here for generations say that if you visit a bird or gets inside your home, you are blessed by God! greetings, Rose Marie

Happy tea day dear one, looks like your doves are right at home on your patio haven... and poor Jingles going crazy...and always fun to watch them loose it over birds!! xo
Hi Tammy...Oh, I wonder if you let Jingles out on the patio, if he would chomp those doves for a snack or if he would just crouch down and watch them. Is he a hunter?
Hope you are keeping cool and that you had a good day. Susan
Mmmmm! Lemon iced tea sounds refreshing right now. Love your doily.Yellow and white, just says summer. Somehow your doves must know there is a glass door protecting them from Jingles or they wouldn't stick around. Happy 1st day of Summer, though guess you have had summer for quite a while now.
Looks like some very smart turtle doves... they know that Jingles can't get to them. I love doves... such peaceful creatures. hugs!
Jingles must have been licking her chops with visions of roasted dove dancing in her head...don't you love the call of the mourning dove? I do. Happy tea day to you!
Happy T to you TAmmy and thanks for sharing these beautiful photos....
Oh my, I love the doves--great pics. Happy tea day :)
I love to watch the mourning doves here too. Cute pictures of your cat watching them. Thanks for leaving a comment today.
So nice to have some doves visit you. I can imagine it would have driven jingles crazy!
Hi Tammy,
I can see why poor Jingles would want to get outdoors.
We had some doves a while back that used to coo and make quite a noise early in the morning.
Now they have gone elsewhere.
Hope that you are enjoying the holidays.
Hugs
Carolyn
Lovely post as always! Your cat looks so cute watching the doves, and such a happy day to you having the visit of two cute guests!!! :)
Hope your days are always gorgeous! xo
Awww, Jingles is so cute. I'm sure if you let him out, he's play nice with the doves. ;)
Love the photos. Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday.
I can't help but think the doves were hanging out in an attempt to torture Jingles. I laughed to know that Jingles spent so much of her day watching them.
Your days are looking nicely relaxing. What a lovely thing. You can get caught up on restocking your gift supply for the upcoming school year.
Enjoy your day!!
Love,
Renee
love your sweet kitty! Jingles would love to visit my house because the chipmunks keep my two cats and Boxer entertained for hours! ;)
Sweet photos! :) Mourning Doves are so precious to me and their walk cracks me up.
Hello Tammy... I just happened upon your blog and since you are living on my side of the earth I thought I'd say hi. I am also living in a "faraway land". It's like Oz... only my wizard is a sweet husband. :) So nice to meet you. Allison
So cute. I love cats and birds yet do not like keeping my cats locked up as I have a rather safe large yard. So I have a huge birdcage hanging from a tree that I keep seed in. They can always come to eat without it being a death trap for them!
Looks like Jingles will have some company while you are away. Its obvious that you been spending your time constructivly since finishing work. I am really enjoying my days off.
Kisses,
Melissa
Grrrrrrr! I'm back to having trouble making comments! This will be my third attempt... maybe thrird time is charmed. LOVE all your inspired projects!!
Whole wheat pancakes with strawberries? Heaven. :)
Love seeing what's going on at your house, Tammy! Enjoy!!!
