I'm at it again!

Baking up a storm!

I saw Zack's English teacher after school and she was telling another teacher about my peanut butter cookies. Since I had all the ingredients on hand, I decided to make a batch for the kids' teachers. The recipe is from Sherry at A Happy Valentine.

When we returned to school after Winter Break, I wrapped up peanut butter cookies in a napkin that said Happy New Year and gave them to the front office staff. Everyone just raves about these cookies. And with only 4 ingredients, it just doesn't get any easier.

I also made a batch of Mexican Wedding Cookies which continue to be a favorite around here.

So teachers will have a choice -- peanut butter or Mexican wedding?

I managed to finish another dishcloth and added it to my stack. I think it's time to start giving them away.

That's about all I could manage for the afternoon in between the washing and folding and cleaning and doing. I hope everyone is having a marvelous Monday! I'm off to dreamland. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Your cookies look really good, I'll have to check out the peanut butter recipe...although today I made a vow to myself to try to get back to healthy eating. Monday's are always busy days here. I've been giving the washer and dryer a workout as well. Hope you have a relaxing evening. (Love your dishcloths!) Heather

Mexican wedding balls are one of our favorite family cookies, but I only seem to make them for Christmas. Maybe I need to plan on making them all through out the year.

Have a wonderful week.

I'm sure those peanut butter cookies are wonderful but once you said Mexican Wedding Cookies I made my choice. One of my daughters and her family was here over the weekend for a late Christmas. She brought her mom some Mexican Wedding Cookies. I would have been disappointed if she didn't!!! Hers are wonderful, too. Diane

Dearest Tammy,

I'm behind because my monitor is in its final stage I guess... so have to revert to my laptop.
You're almost an industrial cookie baker! But it gives so much joy if everyone LOVES them.
Your crocheting did yield also quite a stack of 'labor of love' to hand to some special person one day.
Hope your week goes well, and I'm sending you lots of love from the southeast.

Happy Tuesday, dear...
Ok, two different cookies, and crocheting, plus all the "house: duties, and that is ALL you got done??? You are making me tired with all that you do, my dear friend.
The teachers are going to be singing your praises tomorrow. I love to know that you will put a smile on their faces. I copied the recipe for the peanut butter cookies last time you posted about them, but have not made them yet. Maybe soon, as they look wonderful.

Looks like you had a wonderful Monday. Good to know!!

Love ya,
Renee
