Balcony Entertainment

Yesterday we woke to amazing cloud coverage from the direction of the rising sun.
While towards the west there was a visible morning moon.
Amazing how different the sky can appear depending on which way you are facing.

Today it's just been completely gray and was blustery for most of the morning.
It's the kind of day that makes me want to stay home and do all the cozy things.
I'm lucky to have two balconies filled with plants so that there's always a bit of nature and entertainment close at hand.
Bees were out there buzzing from flower to flower.
A sunflower I don't recall planting has double buds with one about to open.
And the birds were searching for scattered seeds.
Two doves even came to visit Jingles once she arose from her slumber.
The windows are tinted so they can't see in and have no idea what is lurking on the other side.  :)

Happy Caturday!

I think that often about the sky here. I can sit in my chair and look to the west out the living room windows or to the east out the patio door. Often, both give me totally different perspectives on the sky.
I smiled at the picture of Jingles "visiting" with his friends and showed the screen to Dennis. Our cat George, used to sit and watch the birds on our deck like that too.
Wishing you a wonderful Saturday Tammy.
Blessings,
Betsy

The sky is one of God's fascinating pieces of nature! So many different ones, and never the same. You have captured them so well. HaHa...Just love that last picture!!!

That first sky photo is amazing. Such an even pattern. Glad you've had a cozy day. I imagine they don't come around very often in your corner of the globe.

You're so lucky to have flowers in the winter.. I adore the photo of Jingles drooling over the doves. My cat used to ogle the birds when I lived on my houseboat.. her eyes would wiggle in a most peculiar way. One time she tried to leap upon a duck swimming by and landed in the river and my friends husband dropped on his stomach and grabbed her as she was swept away in the current. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Dearest Tammy,
Sweet balcony miracles that are literally at your fingertips when the overall weather does not permit much else.
Love Jingles observing the Mourning doves and they looking inside, it seems like...
We have had very wet days too and it sure did not help my severe mid-back pain but I'm on the winning side!
Hugs,
Mariette

That's so funny that the doves are blissfully unaware of Jingles behind that 'one-way glass'!
Fascinating observations in your sky. Nothing is more spectacular than nature.

Hello tammy, Watching the sky is peaceful, now I look more. I love the outdoors, the grays are not self. It is a very nice sight for the cat to watch the birds :)

The sky looks amazing. It’s nice Jingle can have his bird watching time. Your sunflower is a very nice surprise.

I just commented on another blog that had that same pattern except in snow and there you have it in clouds. I wonder if it means something? That's a hoot that those birds can't see Jingles! LOL! I love mourning doves. For years I thought they were morning doves not mourning. I'm a little slow!

Crazy, gorgeous skies!!! Good thing those pigeons can't see Jingles. But what I want to know is what Jingles was doing when he saw them!?!

Revisiting your page and those cloud patterns make me think of crochet patterned blankets. You are inspiring my creativity as always, Tammy! :-)
