White Wednesday Wishes

For the past few days, the sun has peeked out for just a bit. We had a little splash of rain on Monday but it is still hazy and dusty for the most part.

Bougainvilleas can be found blooming all around the country right now. Originally from South America, they obviously can survive the heat.

I brought home a branch of it the other day, washed off all the dust and then placed it in a jar in the living room.

'Tis my faith that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes!
~William Wordsworth, "Lines Written in Early Spring," Lyrical Ballads, 1798

Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy,

The bougainvillea is beautiful. My Mum had a pretty cerise one at her home.
Hope that the weather improves for you, must have been nice to see the sun and have a fall of rain.

Hugs
Carolyn

We bought Bougainvillea for our fence. Although the original plants were a riot of color, when we replanted it, no more flowers!!! Very frustrating! Don't know what we're doing wrong! Patsy from

I love bougainvilleas and they grow well here, where it can get pretty hot too. The white ones are especially pretty.(Just wish they didn't have thorns. Love your quotes too.

Gorgeous pix, Tammy. Bougainvillea grew near our place when we lived in Texas, but not white. The words of wisdom are much appreciated. And thanks for visiting my blog. I do so appreciate your comments.

They are such a pretty flower, grew all over the place in Saudi and seemed to survive pretty well. They were truly lush in South Africa where they went completely mad and you could almost watch them grow!! Annette #5
