We had a hot day here with temps around 85 and bright blue skies. I'll take that over sand and dust any ol' time.
The Middle School had their Science Fair from 11:30-2:30 pm. Zack's project was putting a skewer through a balloon (it actually can be done). I'm not sure he learned anything from it, but hey, he had a lot of fun and went through about 100 balloons.
For days now, I've been hoping to sit back and glance through this magazine I picked up, but it is not to be. This evening I had to head back to school for Parent Conferences and now it is already past my bedtime.
This week has been so crazy busy that I haven't even had time to work on the granny stripe baby afghan. Turns out, the shower date was changed again and I can't attend. I need more time anyways.
The good news is that tomorrow I have a short day at school and then Spring Break begins. Woohoo! A whole week off and we aren't travelling this time so I hope to get many things done. What's happening with you? Hope your Wednesday is a good one! Friendship blessings, Tammy

There is a "Science Guy" on the Denver news station that we like to watch and last week he did the skewer through the balloon thing! Slick! How funny that your son did it, too!
Love the colors of yarn for the baby blanket...so soft and sweet. Guess you'll be able to work on it during Spring Break, huh?
I have that issue of Cottage Style...so much fun stuff inside. I keep all the back issues.
We just got home from a hike. The weather is lovely here today, too, although not 85 degrees! More like 45!
Hugs

Nice to read the similarities...we had science day some time ago and our International Day is planned for May! Your spring break starts already tomorrow, lucky you! I gotta wait another week and we'll be off for a bit more than 2 weeks... Can't wait! Wishing you a quick last morning tomorrow and enjoy your spring break to the fullest, lots of sun, less sand ;)
Bisous from Versailles,
Chantal
Maybe you can sit down and savor that lovely magazine next week and get your hands into that beautiful yarn. Enjoy your time off. Diane
Skewer throught the balloon, that must have been fun! Good for you a whole week off! Hope the weather stays as great as you described today. Right now my weeks are very busy, lots of work, lots of crochet to be done, no complaints here! Enjoy your time.
My goodness, Tammy! You're so busy! My girls will want to try the skewer through the balloon...sounds fun!
Hoping you get some good quiet time tomorrow, my friend...sounds like you need it!

Enjoy your break!
And send some sunshine my way!
Hi Tammy...Hope you can find a little "ME" time to read your magazine and R-E-L-A-X. You deserve it, you know. Susan
Hi Tammy! I have missed so much, really too much. Zack is adorable! I would have picked tat project too, fun with balloons... sign me up! The colors of your afghan are beautiful, that is a lucky baby to have something that you made with so much love and care. I saw videos of the sandstorm, oh my gosh, it looked aawful, and I can see, quite a mess. I hope you have a well deserved rest over spring break and enjoy your magazine and tea! I am going to look for that, Duane has been having trouble with his asthma. Thanks for the tips! T. xoxo
WHAT A GREAT PROJECT FOR ZACK.
YOU ARE ALWAYS RUNNING....ONE BUSY LADY. LOVE THE COTTAGE MAGAZINE, I GOT A COTTAGE MAGAZINE YEARS AGO, I LOVED IT. I PICK THEM UP IN THE STORES NOW. YOUR BABY YARN IS SO PRETTY, AND SOFT LOOKING, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR BLANKET WHEN YOU FINISH.
HAVE A GOOD DAY, AND A GREAT SPRING BREAK. RIZZI
A week off? I totally see tons of creativity coming on, Tammy!!!
You will "Wow" us all, for sure!!!
XO
It must be that time of year for Science Fairs. We saw last week when we went to swim lessons that they had a fair too. Today I got an email from a friend in San Antonio, and she was telling me about her son's project at the fair. Must be a March thing... Zack looks like he is having a good time with his ballons. He looks like he has changed his look from November.
It would appear that you made it over to Barakat for yarn. What great colors. Elena's little girl is going to make that afghan look extra special. Good luck getting a lot done on the afghan this week, and getting to read that magazine finally!!
Love ya,
Renee
