Thanks to all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes! My birthday gift was our trip to Sri Lanka.
New friends were made ...
Fresh coconut milk was drunk ...
Walks were taken ...
Sunsets were viewed.
Pictures don't do justice to the experience of Sri Lanka. We arrived home safe and sound around 6 pm last nite.
I am reminded of the MOUNTAIN of laundry I have to do.
I hope everyone had a great start to their week. I have lots of catching up to do. More to come! Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Look at you petting that baby elephant! I'm so envious. They are the sweetest things and so comical. How splendid that you had the chance to re-visit SL for your birthday. You look FAB (as does your family) and I know the memories you made will last a lifetime.
Can't wait to see more photos (after you've done the laundry!).
Hugs and welcome back,
Jan
Hi Tammy Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share this evening. I have SO enjoyed your trip to Sri Lanka. Oh the photo of you petting the elephants, is just priceless. What an awesome birthday gift, a chance of a lifetime.
Dear Son looks so precious drinking that fresh coconut milk. I can't even imagine. Love the one of the three guys in your life strolling, SO awesome, and that sunset. God was certainly busy with his paintbrush wasn't he?
Oh thank you for allowing me to stroll along. What an awesome trip. I loved it.
Now I am off to do my laundry and not feeling alone, as I know you have laundry too.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Happy Belated Birthday Tammykins....glad you all had a wonderful time and a safe time coming home...there's so much going on other there in your neck of the woods...

ps...I'm still jealous!
Wonderful!! :) Glad you had a great time and looking forward to more of your tales. I'm off on my own adventure in the morning.... a magical mystery tour to the past with my parents. Will write more later in the week. Hopefully a positive outcome. :)
That must be a beautiful place, Tammy. The sunsets seemed gorgeous. So glad you all had a wonderful time. Susan
Let the vacation pictures begin... YEA!! The Asad family looks wonderful. I can't help but notice that your hair is getting long. I love it. Speaking of long hair, Zack looks so different with long hair, and this is the first picture I have seen of Yusef WITHOUT his long hair. Very nice picture of your three boys walking together. I am blown away by the beauty of the country. It is going to take a few days to get used to brown and sand again. BOO!!
Hope you make it through the job today. I actually thought you had a few more days off.
Love ya,
Renee

Hi Tammy,
Beautiful country and sunset! Thanks for taking us on your trip with you! It has been awful weather here. Nice to go some place sunny! :)Have a great Tuesday.
Blessings,
Sonya
Just thinking of you petting that little baby elephant makes me smile. I hope you had a lovely time.
I don't envy you the mountain of laundry but I do envy your trip to Sri Lanka. I'm looking forward to hearing more....what an awesome birthday present!
Dearest Tammy,
Welcome home and good luck with your catching up on everything! We know the feeling. For the joy of such trips is always a punishment as you must make up for all the time you 'lingered'... It's worth it!
Oh, in South India we did pet baby elephants too; so soft and they're so intelligent!
Love,
Mariette
Such beautiful photos, so pleased you had a fantastic time, just keep thinking about the cute little nellie you got to stroke whilst you are trudging through the mountain of washing. xx
I like your new friend....and I'm happy you had a good time. Look forward to seeing some more photos?! :)
To quote Dr. Seuss "Oh, the places I'll go". I'm thinkin' that pile of laundry was well worth it. Jan
Happy Birthday (a belated one) to you, Tammy! What a wonderful place to go for your birthday! Your photos truly amaze me... how fortunate you are to be living the life that you do!!!
So glad you had such a lovely birthday trip, Tammy! What a magical place to visit...thanks for allowing us to share the trip with your beautiful photos!
Wishing you a wonderful day, and that your laundry pile will magically disappear (wouldn't that be nice?!)
Julie
FELIZ CUMPLEANOS Tammy!! such a wonderful gift for you! I wish I had such great presents...but not even vacation time! Good heavens! :o( I bet we'll be seeing more of your adventures? Cannot wait!
Coconut water is what we call it here...quite popular now that it is summer! :o)
have a lovely day!
Beautiful pictures. Looks like the entire family enjoyed your birthday present. Glad you are safely home.
I really should go and take a trip out that way sometime...maybe when the kiddos get older. That sunset looks breathtaking! It must feel so amazing to pet an elephant, a baby one at that. Now back to the dust that waited to welcome you back to Kuwait. It missed you sooooo much :)
Tammy when you told me over at my blog that you have just come back from Sri Lanka I was hoping you went over there for a holiday and what a lovely holiday you had by the looks of these photos.
I have always wanted to pat a baby elephant, they sure look cute.
Take care and lots of love and light always wished for you.
Peggy xxxx
