The Last Few Days

Friday morning we went for our favorite breakfast in the city -- at a restaurant that my husband has been eating at since he was a kid -- though it's changed location from way back then.
That afternoon I finished my third granny square blanket.
And am now working on adding to this one.
Yesterday I walked at the park but it turned out to be a very dusty day so didn't venture back out again.
And today I went to a walking path in another neighborhood that I haven't been to in a very long time, as well as taking a walk along a beach area that was closed for some time for repairs, landscaping and upgrades.
Sending good wishes and Sunday blessings to you and yours.

Hi Tammy,
It looks like you had a nice weekend. I can't imagine living somewhere so close to the ocean. We did spend that month in Galveston in March and loved it so much that we've book two months next Feb & March. It's very inexpensive for us snowbirds. :-) We have a view out the back window of the camper of the Gulf of Mexico and we've reserved the same spot for next year.
Your blankets are all so beautiful. You have a real talent for putting colors together. Mine always just look like a mish-mash of color. Yours is very color tone matched. I love them.
I hope the week ahead is a good one. We're in a tornado watch right now for five more hours. Spring has definitely sprung in Nebraska. :-)
Blessings and love,
Betsy

If I see correctly, this is falafel for breakfast, and I'm looking at that nice sauce, but I can't guess what it is, is it chickpeas? And I'm looking at these unusual red flowers. I'm not familiar with that plant, it's very beautiful. Best regards, Jasna
