Every Day in May: 4

Normally I walk to the park in my neighborhood but at 8:00 a.m. this morning it was already 85 F and my ability to deal with the heat diminishes the older I get.  There's no shade on the way to the park and I've had a sun allergy since I was a teenager that has manifested in different ways since then.  Lately, any time I go out, I seem to come home with a headache.  I'm not looking forward to the extreme summer heat to come.
Thankfully the park is full of trees for shade so I do a bit of walking, reading, crafting and, of course, there's always a kitty nearby who needs food and attention.
I needed some yarn to continue on with my little scrappy blanket so went to my local shop that's not far from the park.
Not sure why it's called a tailoring shop when it also has all sorts of craft supplies including yarn.
The goods have been secured.

The weather suddenly turned cold here. Strong winds are blowing. I love walking in the park and knitting. It relaxes me. Lots of love..

Glad the park offers shade and a bit of comfort, plus the company of kitties. Crafting under the trees sounds like a lovely way to balance out the weather.

Yes, I love the sunshine and moderate heat as long as there is no humidity and lots of shade, too! The granny blanket is coming along beautifully!

The park sounds like a lovely place to visit . I am glad there are a few shade trees to escape the heat. Your afghan is looking beautiful Tammy. It is so nice to hear that it was just a short walk to the tailor shop for more supplies.
