Day 19

Today I finished the 4th granny square blanket.
I also did some tatreez on an old GAP shirt-- a simple border design from Ramallah, Palestine that is found  in the digital library of tirazain.com documenting and preserving Palestinian embroidery.  The great thing is that, although I do intend to keep adding to it and other shirts, I can still wear them as I decide what to stitch and add next.
This was the sky this morning.
And this evening just before sunset.
Nothing but dust.

A good day to stay home and make things. :)

I think you chose good activities for a dusty day. Love the gap shirt and what you did. Love the cats watching the turdle. It's a good day to stay in and be creative, which you always are!! Have a good week.

Wow, hard for me to imagine a sky just full of dust.

You're on a roll with the granny blankets. That embroidery is beautiful. I like that you can add to it as you want. And yucky dust. It reminds me of the beautiful northwest and the smoke we used to have there. I don't miss that but I do miss the mountains.
Blessings nd hugs,
Betsy

The GAP shirt looks wonderful with that embroidery touch, and I like how you can keep adding to it bit by bit.
The cats and turtle are fun to see .

Oh! I know all too well what sandstorms are like, when it's best to stay home. We have that too. The embroidery turns out interesting.

The embroidery on the shirt is really cool. The granny blanket continues to grow. wow to the sand storm---we get that look the end of summer when the western Sahara shares with us!
