Yesterday I didn't go out and didn't post. Tried to clean and do some organizing -- not my favorite chores (so I take a lot of breaks :) I did crochet some and wound up reading The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver in about 5 hours (between the hours of 4:00 and 10:30 p.m. [past my bedtime]).
Today I walked several times and by the evening walk, my legs just didn't want to really function properly. Perhaps it had something to do with me being awake since 3:00 a.m. I also feel like every ounce of water has been sucked right out of my body.
And now I'm plumb tuckered out.
Til next time ...

Nothing like a lost night's sleep to take the oomph out of us!
We have those buttonwood flower balls--I love the way they smell, too!
It looks like someone else is tuckered out too. I know I'm not telling you anything that you don't know but be sure that you're drinking tons of water. I haven't done much reading lately. Lately I've gotten addicted to a coloring program on my iPad. It sucks my time and I really should let that happen but then I remember what retirement is for...doing what you what to. :-)
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Some days we just need to stay in and get a few things done. It sounds like you stayed busy cleaning and organizing- something which I need to do. I am glad you got to spend time reading a good book and crocheting as well. Have a blessed day.
I do like you and take lots of breaks. We shouldn't feel guilty about that. Sometimes we just have to do as Rosie does... ☺️
Don't forget to drink enough water.
Take care of yourself!
