Daily December 17

We've not had rain in a couple of days but there are still large puddles all around our neighborhood that have yet to dry up.
And with rain predicted tomorrow and Friday, the puddles are gonna be around for awhile.

As I headed out late this afternoon for a walk, I was in awe of the clouds.  My husband said as he was driving home from work, it was like seeing mountains of ice everywhere.
Since I was walking just before sunset, the clouds had taken on an amazing golden pinkish hue.
My photos really don't do the moment justice.  It was a beautiful sight to see since we only really get cloud formations like this during the winter when it is the rainy season.
So many birds were chirping and sitting on this skeleton of a tree.
If I had been seaside, I would have had an unobstructed view of the clouds.
It was still pretty magical.  At least to me.

Tammy - sorry I have not been around for a while ... I also think your cloud formations are magical!!! The size, the puffiness, the contrast of the soft clouds with the stark buildings ... the clouds almost don't look real! In case I don't have time to come back and visit you before the holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The clouds do look like mountains of ice. Such lovely photos. I hope the rain is gentle and you do not experience any storms, Tammy. Have a blessed day. Hugs.

I do love the pinkish-golden clouds, too! It is so hard to photograph them in their full glory but you've done well capturing their majesty!
