A photo from January 13, 2024.
And one from today.
Cloudy skies.
Tired eyes.
I've had problems with my eyes for many years now and when I go for walks, I always have to remember to carry a tissue so I can wipe my very teary eyes. Apparently I have blocked tear ducts and surgery is recommended to redirect the flow.
I also was diagnosed with glaucoma in November and just got a second opinion a couple of weeks ago. The doctor said that without any doubt, I have it.
My eyes feel dry and tired when I am at home, and are constantly tearing up and running when I'm out for a walk. Yesterday was a good day -- my eyes felt pretty normal.
Today, not so much.
Time to call it a day and go rest my weary eyes.
Hope you've had a good one.

I'm sorry to hear about your eye issues. Your eyes are so precious and it's always difficult when they give you problems. I hope that maybe you can get some of the things taken care of before it worsens.
Love the shot of the flowers. We have nothing blooming around here. It's 4F right now. But it is supposed to warm up to the 50's by the end of the weekend.
It will feel like summer.
Blessings,
Betsy
Tammy, I was diagnosed with beginning glocoma several years ago and the doctor put me on eye drops called Lumican. One drop in each eye nightly. So far it has really slowed down the damage it causes. My eyes water a lot too, especially my left one. I had cateract surgery on my right eye, and my left eye may need it in a few more years. My body parts are wearing out...haha
I hope you are getting good medical advice about your eyes. I've been dealing with chronic dry eyes for years, and many things - sinus medication, cataract surgery - make it worse. I use lubricating drops multiple times daily, plus now an added regimen of a warm compress followed by a special eye wash at least once daily. I've been told I'm "borderline" for glaucoma, and may need medication to slow it down but there could be side effects to that, also. I'm quite a bit older than you, though - and some days it just feels like all I can hope for is maintenance!
