RAK: Spread a Little Love

Every Friday my husband and I go out for lunch since it's the only day he takes off work.  (Friday and Saturday are the weekend in Kuwait.)
One of our favorite cuisines is Japanese.
It's easy for me to get simple, vegetarian options.
Miso soup, assorted tempura (my husband had the shrimp and I had the veges), fried tofu, vege maki.
While we waited for our food, I crocheted little hearts using my favorite pattern designed by @queenbabs.
Super Easy Heart - Yarnbombers United
I wasn't sure how many waitresses there were in the restaurant so left 6 when we paid the bill.  Turns out it was almost enough.
All the ladies were shouting thank you's and then I realized the hostess was looking a little left out.  Thankfully I had one extra pink heart that I was able to dig out of my crochet bag.
Happy hands and hearts all around.

Kindness rarely costs anything,
but its worth is immeasurable.”

Have a great weekend.

Great idea! You probably made their day. You know what they say, a smile is contagious. A good way to spread kindness.

You're the sweetest, most generous and lovely lady ever. People around the world are also painting rocks and leaving them for other's to find. I am heartened by this kindness. There is so much negativity going on in this country that your sweetness brings my heart happiness. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

A simple gesture is so appreciated, and often quite rare. How touching that you left a bit of your heart with each of these ladies … Enjoy the (rest of) your weekend!

That's so sweet. I love that.
You probably don't know, but the friends that Jim and I hang out the most with nowadays are our server friends from a bar/restaurant we frequent. We've been doing this for a couple of years now and have a blast because they're so much fun. They're way younger than us, but no matter, they enjoy our company.

Dearest Tammy,
You are such a joyful and SWEET person!
Indeed, spreading some love and letting another person feel much appreciated will be remembered for a long time!
Hugs to you, catching up in-between some deep cleaning.
Have worked really hard the past couple of weeks since I got the green light from my orthopedic surgeon on June 14.
Feeling so happy and grateful and proud for what I've done.
Bike regularly together with Pieter but we try to do so earlier in the morning after breakfast... Not rushing it as that does not go with Pieter's age.
Today the man for our bathroom renovation and some other chores came to check it out and we will get the estimate this weekend. So glad that finally that project is being started, even if he told me that we need to wait 2-3 months. But time will pass fast and this gives us the freedom now to go and stay wherever we want during summer! So much to catch up on and so many plans.
Love you,
Mariette
