Stashbusting Sunday: The End of Summer

Well, summer vacation has officially ended.
Today was my first day back at school.
Unfortunately, that means I won't have as much free time on my hands.
But in the past week, there has been a whole lot of crocheting going on.

Bowls and rock covers.

Dishcloths
Tiny grannies for #grannysquareday on Instagram
A new flower pattern that you can find here,
And bookmarks, too.
I plan to make more of the last two patterns in different colors and will hang them from their tails as window decorations.

I do like quick and easy projects.  Even moreso now that I'm back at work.
You can find all the summer stashbusting projects at Linda's Crafty Corner.
.
Have a super Sunday!

I've loved reading all your posts over the last few weeks and see your beautiful crochet work Tammy!
I'm working too and find I haven't the same energy as I did when I was... retired!
On the plus side of the ledger there is more structure in my life and I'm earning!

I refuse to believe that summer is almost over! lol. I feel like I've lost so much time this year since I've been away from home and the lake so much this year. Your "makes" are so pretty. I want to make a few more covered rocks and maybe some flower bookmarks for small gifts. Have fun at work Tammy!
Blessings,
Betsy

School starts tomorrow for our kids. The summer vacation time might be over, but we still have the heat and humidity. Ugh!

Everything looks so pretty. I admire your talents, Tammy.
Hard to believe it is back to school time already. I can imagine it takes a bit of adjusting to jump back into that mode.

It's always a little sad to give up our free time --it's nice to be able to meander through the day passing time on a whim.
I love all the stash busting you have done! you have been a busy girl on your vacation.
All the best as the new school year gets under way!

Good morning Tammy hope your first week back at school goes smooth.
I have always loved our crochet-especially your covered rocks-I think those are so cool, and I love your bowl.
We have had a very very cool summer here this year-but this week mother nature decided to let us know it is really summer after all-so we will be the normal high heat with humidity from now til fall--enjoy your week Hugs Kathy

You've made a lot of pretty items and have had a lot of fun, but alas, yes, summer is officially over for us too. College classes begin today for my daughter. Of course, like where you are, summer weather persists for a while.... I know that I will likely still enjoy some pool days in our backyard before the end of September. Looks like our weather is really going to heat up here over the next week. Seems like that happens every year here when school starts.

For me, it's really just another day though since I've been at work all summer except for the small vacations. I can't say that I'm that happy about the arrival of 45,000 students this week, BUT that is why I work here. ;)

Have a great start to the new school year,
Linda
