Walking Weather

Hubby and I took advantage of this afternoon's beautiful weather by taking a walk.  My first real walk since spraining my ankle in early November. I still can't twist or rotate it without experiencing major pain, but thankfully walking on flat ground was not a problem.
We took our normal walking path and I was surprised to see how so much had changed.  The mild weather this time of year is perfect for plants and flowers.

The sky was ever changing as we walked along for about an hour.
Kuwait celebrates its National and Liberation Days on the 25th and 26th so we won't be getting out in the car much, but hopefully we will have more walking weather over this 4-day weekend.

Hope you are having a wonderful day in your corner of the world!

I adore walking and keep it up year round even in below zero temps and when it's 90, though my favorite weather is when the air is completely calm and the temp is around 45 degrees. That's my perfect walking weather. :)

Glad you had the opportunity to walk together. Enjoy your long weekend.

Very nice! Love walking in a scenic location. We walked a lot in Big Bend National Park last week. But you have to remember that this park is bigger than the state of Rhode Island, so we barely hit any of the trails. LOL

It looks like a beautiful place to walk T. I am sorry about your ankle and hope the worst is behind you and you enjoy many more days of walking.
Things are still under snow here, but melting fast. I took Landon out for a walk the other day and he smiled the whole time.
sending many hugs...

Brooklyn, Ben and I took a walk down by the lake today and fed the ducks! It was a little chilly so we had to cut it short, but it felt sooooo good to be out in the sunshine!

I hope your ankle continues to mend and you are completely mobile soon. A walk always makes one feel refreshed.

It look our temps here in the midwest are very similar to yours. We have had the most unusal winter. The roses never lost their leaves and are now putting on new growth.

But I think if I asked my husband to walk for an hour with me he would fall over dead :) He is very active but he hates walking :) We still manange little family walks every night in summer but that sounds so fun to go with your husband for a walk without having to wait for someone or tell someone else to wait up :) I am jealous you enjoyed that today :) A good jealous :) Hope you get more soon!! & sooo glad your ankle could take it ! YAY!

Awesome pics, Tammy! The flowers are delightful. It's terrible that you're still experiencing a strong degree of pain when your ankle is moved a certain way...do you think some physiotherapy would help?

Enjoy your long weekend! xo
