I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I met a few friends at the Movenpick Hotel for High Tea. We spent a few hours together sipping, eating and chatting. We hadn't seen each other in ages so it was a nice way to catch up.
While I was there, Zack's advisory class was out doing beach clean up for their community & service project. They collected 13 bags of trash. He found a starfish but traded with a friend for this pretty clam shell completely intact. It is definitely gonna need a good cleaning or we are going to have a stinky situation on our hands.
This little Valentine treat bag is something I created Friday night combining crochet, cross-stitch and a bit of sewing. I plan to make more this week and will fill them with sweet treats for Valentine's Day.
Back to school today. Why is it that weekends go so fast? Best wishes to one and all. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Oh Tammy, that bag is completely adorable!! Love it.
I was just thinking the same thing here looking at the clock - it's 9:30 p.m., Saturday night already and the time is going too quickly. And to think we only had a 2 day week last week! lol It snowed again today... 3 inches of "flurries". They're not very good at predicting the weather.
Have a nice week,
Linda
Love the bag, love Diana Krull, love your new shell. Have a lovely day tomorrow!
Love,
jan
I LOVE TEA PARTIES, AND ALL THE GOODIES TO EAT. IT IS NICE TO GET TOGETHER WITH GOOD FRIENDS. LOVE YOUR VALENTINE BAG, CUTE IDEA.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, RIZZI
Oh, Tammy, that little heart bag is the cutest ever! So glad you are enjoying your weekend. Thanks for your visits to my blog. Glad you liked today's and that it made you smile. Little Turtle is adorable, isn't he? Take care, Tammy. Have a good Sunday. Susan
I blew that picture up of the tea plate and those things look fabulous! I like that the boys traded sea shells, so sweet.
Your little valentine bag is adorable.
Your shell story reminded me of the time we had a Japanese foreign exchange student over the Christmas holidays. We gave him my son's room, and when he left the room smelled awful. We'd wondered if he'd brought some type of Japanese seafood in there, but it turned out it was some of these little clam shells my son had found at the beach a few days before he arrived.
We felt so sorry for Keong, having to deal with that odor. He'd kept the door closed much of the time, so we didn't know :-)
High tea at this hotel sounds like so much fun!
Blessings,
Marcia
A tea party...haven't had something like that in I can't remember how long, something I'm going to have to slow down and do. There are a few people that I need to catch up with too and this would be a wonderful thing to do. I love your valentine bags. How very sweet. I may have to copy you (again). And thank you for such beautiful comments that you left for me. Blessings dear girl, have a wonderful day.
Tea with a friend sounds like a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The valentine bag you created is very cute and I'm sure the recipients of the gift will enjoy it and the goodies you fill it with. Enjoy your day. Heather
It was soooooo nice seeing you. Have to say though, that I wasn't to sure about having High Tea. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere, view, kibbles n bits, and most of all your company made for a complete and happy day. We're gonna have to try the other places there.
Hi Tammy,
Over at Glor's place and she mentioned your little bag, how cute is this..Perfect. Thanks for the inspiration. The clam shell is lovely..but I would have kept the starfish...how cool is that...Enjoying your blue sky and sunshine..here today monochrome
gray with 4-6 inches of white....Spring is coming isn't it? What season are you in?
Hi Tammy! LOve, love, love the bag! What a special valentine treat bag! High tea sounds perfect right now, Theresa xoxo

What a wonderful tea--that is amazing! and sounds so fun!!!
Sending ((((hugs))) your way across the miles,

Cutest bag ever!
Oh, High Tea... it sounds so special!
The crocheted bag is so sweet. Neat that you combined several needle crafts to make this cute treat bag :)
Dearest Tammy,
Oh, to clean that shell; use chlorine! Then with vaseline you can make the shell look at its best. This was our lesson learned from a Frenchman in St. Marin while on vacation there. It worked!
Your Valentine bag is sweet and very nice even work of crochet! Enjoy this week, leading up to Valentine.
Mariette
Why do they go so fast indeed?!! It feels like I was just living on Friday! :o( Oh well...at least it bright, sunny and nice today! That should cheer me up :o)
have a good week ahead!
I love knowing that you together with the girls for tea. Where are the pictures of your lovely faces??? I read Melissa's comment and was very amused to know that she was "not sure" about High Tea. HA! That is exactly what I would have expected from her. I am thrilled to know that she enjoyed her time.
I love knowing that people are making an attempt to clean up the beaches. VERY NICE.
LOVE THE BAG!!!
Love ya, dear!!
Renee
