Sunday Blessings

Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving. ~W.T. Purkiser
I walked away with many wonderful purchases from yesterday's handicraft bazaar. Cross-stitched Santa ornaments and a crocheted Santa.

Pretty handkerchiefs with crocheted trim made by some lovely Indian ladies.

A bag made from Sadu fabric and a cross-stitched camel bookmark.

These pretty necklaces are for holding reading glasses. Too bad my husband won't wear one as he is always losing his glasses.

And finally, this is a Dazzle Rag made by a wonderful Australian gal. It's made from strips of tshirt material cut just right and then made into a scarf with bling holding it all together. Love it! Not the greatest picture as I took it while I was wearing the thing.

Today I am thankful for my health and that of my family and friends.
Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open. ~B.K.S. Iyengar

Wishing you peace, joy and love. Tammy

I love looking at your finds at the craft shows as the items are so much different than we have at ours. The tee shirt scarf is very interesting. It looks like it had Tammy wrote on it.

The scarf is a really cool idea, I've never seen anything like it.
Have a wonderful week.

Love all those little santas. You could do the camels... I think Sam would look stunning with some glass holders around his neck. ha ha !!
That is one awsome scarf..... I thought it was laid on a couch or something at first. ha . not that you look like a sofa... that's my department, plush and cushy. :)

Regardless of our stature in life or the amount of money we have in the bank or how large our house or how many cars in the garage - without health we are truly poor and without God we are truly dead. Lovely blog posting today. Just lovely.

Oh my that scarf is lovely! I would so love to know how to make something like this out of a t shirt no less!!

THanks for your sweet compliments on my kitchen. You mentioned not showing yours to a soul. The great thing about pictures is you can crop them! You didn't see my stove or the huge white plaster line on my Pink PINK ceiling! And then there are the 50's pink linoleum tiles that are coming up off the floor! But hey the little counter looks great!!!

blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving!
