Spirit and Splendor

When the spirit of nature touches us,
our hearts turn into a butterfly.
(Mehmet Murat Ildan)

Did you happen to see April's full pink moon last week?
Apparently it was also the first of four super moons expected this year.

All that brightness tends to make my camera go a little haywire.
The moon was reigning over their world, glowing its full splendor to all those willing to look up.

The month of Ramadan started three weeks ago with the sighting of the crescent moon; now only one more week to go and then it will be the Eid.   Normally it would be a time of celebration, visiting friends and family, going out to eat, but restaurants and cafes have been closed for two months now and we still have an evening curfew.  Wonder if any of that will change after the Eid holiday.

There's not much we can do but take each day as it comes.
    One day at a time.

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

Sorry to hear things are still closed there and that there's a curfew. Frustrating, but I'm glad you're safe. Hope you have a good week.

Did you do all of the beautiful decorations? Hearts and butterfly? How happy they must make the people who see them.
It seems this virus ebbs and flows around the world. Just when you think things are getting better, it gets worse somewhere else and then works it's way back to the first place. Will it ever go away?
Wishing you a peaceful heart my dear friend.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

Beautiful. When my children grew up and left home (and were far away) we used to look at the moon at the same time--it was our bond! This reminds me of that. Psa 8:3

Great moon shots Tammy - I love looking at the moon and knowing that it shines on us all and really does bring us together in thought no matter where we live, near or far.

Your hearts are so pretty as always. Sorry you cannot celebrate yet - soon though hopefully. We haven't celebrated much either for so long, however are just grateful we have remained COVID-free!

As you say, one day at a time.
Thanks so much for the recent get well message dear - I'm doing OK.

Dearest Tammy,
Feeling free like a butterfly and fluttering towards the sunshine is good for our soul.
But with so many restrictions in several countries, it is heart for feeling uplifted!
Praying that soon the people in the world will get their freedom back.
Lovely images...
Hugs,
Mariette

Yes, one day at a time. Regret for yesterday and worry about tomorrow ... too many burdens!
