Beach Inspiration

Another beautiful day here albeit hot!  We are already hitting the 100 mark during the day.  My college boy in Colorado is complaining about the fact that they got more snow when it is supposed to be springtime.  I know many of you are in the same boat and would like Spring to come and stay for awhile.  I'm definitely not ready for it to end as it will just get hotter and  hotter and hotter from here on out.

I spent the morning with a friend and her daughter.  We first had coffee and then, since neither of them had ever been before, we headed to the same beach  I was at yesterday.  I actually found a cute little pink terrarium buried in the sand so brought it along for Renee to collect shells and seaglass.  After bringing home my own beach treasures (and after taking a much needed shower) I was inspired to crochet based on the colors of the day.

Spring Break certainly has been good for my creative side.
Happy Thursday!

That all looks divine!
Thankfully I don't live in Colorado and we do not have snow - just beautiful, glorious springtime here in east-central Illinois now, on yet another warming trend heading to a long string of 70s over the coming days. Everything is blooming, emerging, and it makes me so happy.

What a talented gal you are Tammy. Your creative juices were flowing big time. The ocean, as I mentioned before...is a love of mine. Any ocean, or large body of water like Lake Tahoe. The shadow pictures are so cool. Sending love and smiles.

So nice to go to the beach - thanks for sharing your beautiful treasures. I'm sorry for your son, this weather goes on and on. Today it was beautiful here, shirtsleeve weather. But tomorrow???? He will appreciate the cool weather when he goes back home there where it's already 100. Blessings, Diane

Dearest Tammy,
You together did gather some nice treasures and your crocheted rocks always look special!
Enjoy your remaining days off. It has been very chilly here, had to turn the heat back on... brrrrrrr!
Tomorrow even colder and rain too. Let's hope there will be sunshine to enjoy for Easter weekend.
Hugs,
Mariette

Hi Tammy. Your beach walks and beach finds / treasures are wonderful! I love how you find special pebbles for your pretty crochet work. I am envious of your finds, as my beach remains quite bare since H Sandy cleanup, a year and a half ago now. Too bad your beach allows litter tho and well-done! of you to clean things up.

lizzy at gone to the beach
