Happy Easter Week!
Although much of the world celebrated Easter yesterday, the Orthodox Christians will celebrate theirs on Sunday, April 12th, so there's still time to get in some Easter crafting.
(My little crocheted bowls make the perfect birds nests.)
It's only been in the past couple of years that our school has extended Spring Break to include the Easter Sunday, so I was fortunate yesterday to spend a lovely morning having a leisurely breakfast with my friend, Samantha.
We deemed it a #cafepainter date (if you are on Instagram, there's a hashtag for it).
We don't really know what we are doing, but had fun anyways, and plan to meet for more #cafepainter dates in the future.
Besides the birds nests, I also made some bunnies using this pattern.
And saw some little bunny baskets on Instagram; no source or pattern to be found so just made them up on my own.
These were gifted to co-workers today.
Since I used old, leftover yarn, I'm linking to Linda's April Stashbuster Party.
I hope that you all had a blessed Easter Sunday.
May your week ahead be a good one.

Oh I love your little bunnies and baskets.
Linda
The little bird's nests turned out so cute.
Okay ......now I'm hungry for Easter candy. LOL
What a nice time you had! I love your cute little Easter projects. I love the idea of taking some painting to a cafe, Gracie and I might have to try that!
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
You make so many cute things. :)
Glad you enjoyed a blissful time off.
I'm really funny about my art and any sort of creating really. It's a personal process for me and I don't like to do (and won't do) those things with anyone else around. I'm kind of the same way with my photography art. I have to be alone to think through the processes.
We had a wonderful weekend of much celebration at our house - I was basically busy from Friday morning until late Sunday night. It's a huge process for me when we entertain - I want everything to be perfect and it always is. ;)
Have a great week,
Linda
I hope you enjoy Easter yet to come! I did not know about the different dates, I thought it was the one thing that was the same for everyone! xx
Sweet crafting, Tammy! The tiny nests are very cute and can be used anytime of year. Liking your watercolor too!
Happy Easter! I love how creative you are. I find making things so therapeutic. Have a lovely break.
I like all the little things that you make. I made some pom pom rabbits and they came out just awful. The girlies liked them, hah.
Glad you had some times with a friend.
Dearest Tammy,
You were lucky with that Easter Sunday off as well.
Such a special leisurely breakfast with your friend is a bliss.
Glad you enjoyed creating little Easter baskets for gifts.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Happy Easter Tammy! We are celebrating it this week, so Easter activities still underway here :)
What cute items for Easter! You are so talented to be able to create without a pattern and I love your artwork. The water is so blue...just beautiful. Glad you had time to share with friends.
Wonderful photos Tammy, love the bunnies! Xo
Cute little bunnies and baskets Tammy thank you for linking. We have to celebrate both Easters because half of the family is catholic and the other orthodox, it can get confusing especially when one lot is celebrating palm Sunday and the others Easter Sunday on the same day! :) xx
So creative, YOU! LOVE the idea of the cafe painting...and the photo with the shadows of the palm trees on the sidewalk - gorgeous. Happy Tuesday, Tammy...thanks for the inspiration!
Love the tree shadows and also the little crochet bunnies, happy Easter Tammy
