Walking Inspiration

Let life unfold day by day
Do not rush into doing, that isn't necessary.
Trust that where your feet are is where
they are supposed to be and walk into this
day with a positive expectation --
who knows what lies ahead for you.
(Jackson Kiddard)

 Keep looking up ...
that's the secret of life...

I need your first painting to be the first thing I see when I open my eyes in the morning, Tammy!
Have a wonderful weekend :)

Beautiful post! I admire how you can sit and draw and think and create these wonderful sketches in the morning...or any time. It seems so peaceful and meditative. I'd love to do that but most of the time I just can't seem to settle myself enough to actually draw. I'm always so busy doing or thinking of what I need to be doing. And, then, there's the worry that it'll all just turn out bad so I don't bother trying. I really should. Thanks for the peaceful start to the morning and for the inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend!

Tammy -- A thoughtful post. I especially liked the Williams quote in the cat photo. The kitten is cute and I bet it belongs to you. You have a warm distinctive art form. -- barbara

Such a lovely inspiring post Tammy. I particulary like the little phrase about looking into an animals eyes. I feel like that about all living things, they all deserve to live and not be ill treated.
Lots of love

I love your water color of the Muslim woman and her friend. A beautiful portrait of an ordinary walk. Without seeing her face we get to enjoy her without disturbing her privacy.

The kitty's eyes are amazing. Is that one of your cats?

Dearest Tammy,
Funny your last sentence: Keep looking up, that's the secret of life... There is a Dutch song, probably from the 70s: 'Hoog Sammy, kijk omhoog Sammy...'
Up Sammy, look up Sammy. Funny!
But there is a lot of truth in it.
And that animals do have a soul is so true. Just got mad at Noushka's blog (1000 PATTES - 1000 TRACKS) where she wrote that she's trying to capture photos of those gorgeous stags that will get shot for their trophy stags. It is the beginning of mating season when they all come out to the valleys and they get shot from the homes. Such a cowardly act and WHY kill them for having such a stag hung against the wall. I once saw a catalog with a perfect fake one and that would be so wise to opt for that.
Enjoy your new week and keep looking at the little miracles around us in nature.
Hugs,
Mariette
