Making and Baking

Over the past week I've done a lot of baking.  I enjoy trying new recipes, especially healthier versions of treats that I can share with co-workers and friends.  The following recipes all got rave reviews so I thought I would share the links with you.

Granted, I hardly ever follow a recipe to a tee.  I'm always substituting ingredients based on what I  might have on hand.  The best part about making these things is that I don't feel guilty about eating them because I know I am using good, healthy ingredients.

Have a great week!

They all sound really delicious, Tammy. They look professional too. The shortbread sounds particularly interesting, I really like more savory baked goods. I once had a rosemary-olive oil muffin, I think with cornmeal or polenta in it, which was very good. Thanks for sharing.

These all look great and photographed so well, Tammy! I wish I ate this healthy...actually, I don't eat sugar at all, so I've learned to look the other way when it comes to desserts.

I am an avid cook and when I first ventured out into baking, I thought I could add a little more of this, a little less of that...and it just didn't come out like it did with cooking. I admire you for being able to adjust baking recipes...it's a science where cooking is an experiment!

XO,
Jane

Your baking looks yumm Tammy! I alos never follow the recipe completely because I never have ALL the ingredients or sometimes I find it easier to substitute, or use what I am used to work with.
Have a fabulous day!!
