Weather, Walking and the Waxing Moon

For most people, we often marvel at the beauty of a sunrise or the magnificence of a full moon, but it is impossible to fathom the magnitude of the universe that surrounds us.
Richard H. Baker
We are waking to early morning temperatures of 70 degrees and beautiful sunrises.

Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself.”
― Henry David ThoreauWalden, or Life in the Woods

Choosing a different path for our walk.

Taking in everything around us and enjoying the moment.
Meteorologists are saying that "when the moon waxes to its full phase this afternoon, high tides along the Eastern seaboard will rise twenty-percent", and that's without the storm surge that Hurricane Sandy could cause.

To all my East Coast friends, I send good vibes and wishes for safety and peace over the next few days.
Hugs and blessings,

Beautiful pictures. The weather here is cool and breezy all due to Hurricane Sandy, hard to enjoy it because of the poor people in it's path. Sending them positive thoughts, too.
Hugs,

Love your photos and thoughts. From my observations on my drive to work in the morning, I feel most people are nuts when it comes to rushing through life.

I just never will understand the need to drive fast, rushing about, missing all of the beauty around us. The Moon was pink as it was setting this morning here and it was simply stunning.

Hope you enjoy a beautiful new week.

You publish wonderful photos. As I looked at your full moon photo I thought about how amazing it is that I was looking at the same full moon here in California as you took the photo in your faraway home! Kind of a "its a small world" thought.

The moon has such an influence on all of us but many people refuse to believe this.

Dearest Tammy,
Love your outlay, very fresh.
Beautiful photos you show here; almost magical.
It is a joy to capture the flora around you during those walks, including insects.
Here in Georgia (2 hours off the coast) the wind gusts have stopped but the real feel for tonight could be freezing temperatures.
Let's hope that the damage in the north east is not that grave!
Hugs to you,
Mariette

I'm glad your weather is cooling down. 70 must feel almost chilly! How refreshing to see the green leaves and plants.

Sunrises and sunsets always seem better in spring and fall, don't they? Have a wonderful week.
