It's Hard to Make the Bed

When the cat gets in the way.

Yes, that lump is Jingles.

It took a while to coax her out.

I'm happy to report that several of our teachers at school are involved in cat rescue. Today I took the abandoned Persian kitty to one of them who will keep her until Wednesday. At that time, kitty will be taken to the shelter where she will be cleaned and groomed, given shots and spayed. When rescues are taken in, the shelter asks for a donation to offset costs and I was more than glad to pay. At least now I can sleep at night knowing that I did the right thing for her. She really is such a sweet little thing. I hope now she can find a forever home.

Wishing you all a sensational Sunday. Peace & blessings, Tammy

Tammy, here is a hug from me for helping to rescue that sweet kitty! I do love cats, and have taken many to the shelter, have kept a few too. Found one injured at the side of the road a few years back and we took it to the emergency animal clinic. A sweet little black and white one, which turned out to belong to someone not far from us. They were so grateful to have their kitty back, and happy that we had helped save her life. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday! I hope the kitty will find a good home. A shame I am so far, I have a special affection for Persians! ~Debby

Hi Tammy-there's nothing like rescuing an animal. All my dogs have been from the pound and they are so happy to be loved. I always wish I could do the same for a child, but that is far more complicated!
It's so good to hear from you, and I certainly would share that chair with you!
hugs,
gail

Hi Tammy- there you go- tugging at my heart strings again. I can't stand to see a kitty by hungry or hurt. She looks beautiful- I hope she can go to a loving home. We do the same thing here- pay to have them spayed and their shots and give them to good homes. We do take our kitties to the pound too sometimes-

It's just wrong for them to be hungry-

Bless your sweet heart-
Vicki

While we were in Arkansas, the resort we stayed at asked for donations for the dogs and cats that were stray in the area. We thought that was a nice gesture and donated in Sadie's name.

Tammy very sweet of you to save a kitty. My furchild BooBoo Kitty loves to play under the covers when we are making the beds. She is almost 18 years old and still loves to sleep under the covers with us. May you have a wonderful week dear...

The Persian is such a pretty kitty. I hope she finds a great and happy home. She's precious!

Our miniature schnauzer does the same thing when it comes time to make the bed. Instead of jumping down, she moves from here to there, always in the way and often becomes a bump in the blankets. She's so cute! LOL!

It is always great to read a rescue animal story.

Cats just love getting under those sheets when you are making the bed don't they? It makes for a very furry sleep. :)

So glad yo hear there are always people willing to help stray kitties. It's a beautiful thing!

I have kitties "help" me make the bed almost everyday!!
Here in our community we had a couple of feral females who were having kittens all the time & in the most awful places... like under porches. They were trapped & taken to the vets & instead of being euthanized they were spayed & released. The vet gave a discount & we all chipped-in the expense!!
Have a Wonderful Day!!

Jingles looks like she's having a blast. I have to admit, I like to play under the covers with the kids, especially Lily. It's like a new adventure. Glad to know that it worked out for kitty. I know how much you were worried about her. If you need help with donations for any of your fine furry friends, I'd be more than happy to help. Just let me know ok. Wishing you a wonderful week!

What a wonderful gift you gave that precious kitty and hopefully her new owner! Hopefully she will realize what you and your friends have given her.

Jingles looks so cute under the covers! I remember my first cat, AJ, hiding under my covers and me just giving up on trying to make the bed until he came out. Oh, how I miss him.

Have a great week.

Somehow I missed this post. I'm glad I saw it though, what a happy one. I'm hoping that the little kitty gets a good home and is loved like she deserves. Jingles......what a case. Those pictures of her in the bed made me laugh. They're such clowns. I bet you all love that girl. Cute bracelet idea, too. Diane

Well, that's a wonderful answer to prayers! You got to take the pretty little Persian kitty in :) Now I pray, along with you, that she gets a wonderful home for keeps. I pray that for all the kitties in your world.
