White Wednesday and the Plot Thickens

White Wednesday Wishes to one and all! I found these sweet apple tealight holders the other day. These will be teacher gifts next week along with a cinnamon tealight and some baked goodies.

I delivered my very secret santa gift this morning to Rita in Accounting. And in return, secretly delivered to me was a red bag from her. She has no idea who is getting her gifts. The funny thing is, I am right across the hall from her, but we are all usually so busy, we don't stop to just chit chat or check in with each other. Surprisingly, I didn't get just one gift, I got a second gift bag from yet another "Super Secret Santa." Someone has decided to have a little fun with me.

So from Rita, I got this beautiful red mug with snowflake motifs, filled with Santa chocolates.

And from Super Secret Santa, a holiday potholder set. I wonder if everyone will be revealed tomorrow since tomorrow evening is the staff Christmas party.

This afternoon I made Sour Cream Cranberry Oatmeal Bars which is a recipe I spotted on Mimi's blog http://ourfamilyattic.blogspot.com/. You can visit her and find the recipe in her sidebar. As you can see, it baked up nicely and cut perfectly, and it tastes delicious!

Thanks for sharing Mimi.
I need to go get tomorrow's special secret gift ready! Blessings to you all! Tammy

Nice gifts. I like the way your oatmeal recipe looks. I love crunchy things as opposed to cakey with icing. Enjoy your visits to my place.

You are just the most precious person - ever! Don't ask me how I know this but I have a feeling that we could sit down with a cup of tea and talk for hours.

So happy that you liked the Cranberry Bars. If you get the chance take a look at my recipe blog - Death by Chocolate Cookies - they will make your eyes roll!

I hope to be adding each day until Christmas - at least that is my goal.

I love coming over here - so cozy!

Secret Santa is soooo fun. We didn't do it for a few years at school since the infamous "Malena" secret santa scandal:D. Your candle holders are so cute and the gifts you recieved are so festive. Really putting you in the mood for the holiday isn't it. So if Rita doesn't know who you are, how did you figure her out. And is your secret super an extra special person that just wants to make your day? That cranberry bake looks yummo and I want the recipe. You are really going to make alot of teacher's happy with that. I guess I can pop over to Mimi's blog and check it out or just google it.

Your secret santa at school sounds like a lot of fun. Good for you. This time of the year brings out such a nice side of people. On Friday, Dany is caroling through the halls of school with the choir. He is tickled!! Dany has a way of bouncing to the tune when he sings. I am sure it will be amusing to watch!! HA! Your cranberry bars look fabulous!! I have 5 cookies I am making this week, so I am going to be busy trying to finish up cross stitches, teddy bears, and cookies. It wouldn't be christmas time if we not all running around trying to get everything done on time...

Good luck getting it all done!

Love,
Renee
