It's a Pink Sunday
My weekend got away from me and today I think I lost my mind. Work was fine, but after school -- that's when it all went bad. Zack stayed at school to watch a volleyball game. I came home and put chicken in the oven for Yusef. He stayed here while I went to the grocery store -- got there and guess what, no wallet. I had to come back home for my wallet, and turns out, no keys! I left my keys at the grocery store because I had given it to the cashier so she could scan my discount key. All of this took nearly an hour, so by the time I finally got home the second time with the groceries, I only had time to put them away and then had to go pick Zack up at school. I'm glad I went a different way to get there as it turns out there was a security check and guess who didn't have their driver's license with them. Yep! That would be me. Turns out, it was in my purse I had switched from yesterday and I had driven all day without it. I must have had a sugar low or something which made my brain so scrambled. I didn't eat lunch until 5:30 pm. Not a good thing! I hope that I can get some sleep tonite and that tomorrow will be a better day. I missed pink Saturday so here's a few things for you. The first picture is a baby afghan I made a couple of years ago for a friend. When I take pictures, I use my cute little hot pink camera that my husband bought for me earlier in the year. The case for it is also hot pink.
A pink book of friendship from my dear friend Cynthia. She moved back to England a year and a half ago and I miss her a lot.
Friday and Saturday I helped with Little League registration so snapped these photos of flowers outside the hotel we were at.
And finally some bits and bobs. I love this kind of stuff. It helps me to breathe! I have to find time to craft tomorrow!
I hope your Sunday is going well. Peace & blessings, Tammy

You poor girl. I hate when things like that happen... then we get all stressed out and need to eat a gallon of ice cream. Ha! Just checking to see if you were paying attention. ha ha! seriously I am sorry you had a rough day. I hope tomorrow will be full of peace and blessings for you!!
love ya!
Oh so sorry for your bad day. At least you got a sense of humor. Some nice photos. Sunday is good for pink. I love the afghan.

Tammy! My goodness you had a day! I hope after all that stress, the chicken was delicious! Maybe this is a sign that you need to rest and collect your thoughts a little. Or, maybe it's a sign that you need more pink because those pink photos seemed to make everything better ;)
OR is this what craft withdrawals are??? haha
I hope you find the time to create dear...it does the body some good (& you don't have to leave the house! haha)
everything vintage
You poor thing. Your day is not like you at all. You are always so on top of things. I am thinking the lack of sleep, and too many things to do just took your thought process away from you today. Your blog toay could be used as an example of what happens when you don't get enough sleep! HA! Your sugar low is similar to what happened to me Saturday after being at the park. I know that is why my head hurt so bad and my stomach was off. You don't have a lot of extra fat for your body to use when you don't eat enough, it really affects you. Promise that you will keep good healthy snacks in your purse just for days like this. Then make sure you transfer them to your new purse when you change purses!! HA!
Love ya, dear!!

Sounds like me half the time:D Goodness knows I've forgotten things here and there. Just ask the girls at school. I've pretty much done all of what you did at one point or another but doing it all in the same day is pretty funny. I would have definately dug into something sweet and tasty to make myself feel better. Gwen and I would get along wonderfully:) Usually its when its that time of the month, I get a little disoriented. Lack of sleep will do that too or just having too much on your plate. And now you want to add more crafts to the list you silly wabbit. Hope some of that craftiness is coming my way:) Take it easy, we all have our off days. Nothing that a little tea and an after eight mint won't cure. I have some overipe bananas waiting to be made into a banana bread, so if I'm not too lazy might do that later. More likely not. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
