I used to walk for the sake of walking. But now I walk with purpose.
Rather than only seeing a stark terrain.
I see trees and birds.
Vegetable gardens in bloom.
Trailing vines and flowers in the most unlikeliest of places.
I pretend I am on an adventure.
Today I came home with five smooth stones.
And dressed them up with crocheted covers.

This was the first post I read today, and it was so beautiful, I had to send you a little note. Thanks for this. BTW, the crocheted rocks are awesome!
Love the crochet rock covers - very pretty. Have a good day. :)
What a wonderful post, I love your positiveness in seeing the beauty in the day.
Hugs,
Meredith
You have such an infectious, good attitude Tammy and for that, among many other reason I am glad to have connected with you and your blog. :-)
oh, I love that quote! I think I'd have to pull some of the wild vine up and try to root it. That is how I got my wild morning glory and it is HUGE now. I love your stones...but DON'T get me started on ANOTHER project! have a great day!
Beautiful Tammy!
this was a perfect start to my day, thank you tammy. love your finds and rocks, with and without crochet.
talent is different for each of us...You have the talent to always find the right words ...they touch each of us in different ways, for different reasons...but they touch us...thank you Tammy...
Tammy you know how much I like your posts! You make each day count and that's something I try doing too! Gives you inspiration to move on! (Regardless of what you're doing!) Your treasures are wonderful! And your crocheted stones too! (You could also paint them, that's something I was doing with my mum when I was little!)
Have a really nice day,
Angeliki
You had an interesting day with a purpose!! I love the covered stones!
Such a lovely quote and one I will try to follow. Your stones are wonderful. It is much better to see all while on a walk. I like to walk different neighborhoods just to see different sights. Happy week dear...
What a wonderful idea...I must learn to crochet!! Keep looking at the sky rather than the dust and enjoy the birds!! JOan
What a wonderful quote. More people should heed those words. Being an artist I think I do. When life gets hectic I try to go for a walk in our woods (as long as it's not bear season). Also we have very large windows and being in the foothills of the Cascade Mtn. range the clouds can pile up there. So just sitting and watching them is magnificent. I so enjoy your walks and your rocks too.
oh my god Tammy!!...i saw the thumbnail of your post and for a moment i thought that it was a huge bug or something! hehehe....i feel so stupid now...
sounds like you really live your days to the fullest and enjoy every little thing in life!!!and thats what we all need to do...
have a great week!!!!
What wonderful treasure :-)
Hi Tammy....Your post today reminded me of how I COULD walk if I put my mind to it. You are an inspiration! Susan
What a wonderful quote, dear Tammy! And you really did the best thing with your day you looked for treasures - and you found them! I like the "crocheted stones" very much!

Beautiful Tammy! Always love your crocheted rocks! Have a beautiful day! xo Heather
Your crocheted stones are beautiful! I'm visiting from Becca's and I just had to see what you are making. I collect seashells and these would be beautiful mixed in. Are they hard to make? Do you use a pattern? Thanks for sharing your talent!
Hi Tammy,
You do see so much more when you walk and I am always on the look out for some treasures too.
Love the sweet rocks with the crocheted covers.
Happy week
Hugs
Carolyn
Tammy I love that quote!Isn't it so true. I seem to looking down a lot these days too.
hugs from me...
I love your great attitude and how you find treasures in the simple things of life. :)
Oh, Tammy...that is SO TRUE...especially the quote at the end. I think nature of any kind is God's therapy. It cures what ails you and renews the spirit. All of nature is a gift. Thank you so much for sharing yourself on this blog. It makes me so happy when I read your blog.
