Staying In

Words to describe the weather: hot, hazy, humid, dusty, dreary, drab.
So today it's all about indoor activities.
Crocheted jackets were made for yesterday's rocks.
And then were added to my growing collection.  Aren't they beautiful?
I just love seeing them all together like this.
Brownies were whipped up,
 baked,
and served with oreo and coffee ice cream.  Delicious!
Have a lovely Thursday!

Pretty! And you're making me think that I need to make a dessert. Maybe tonight. I rarely bake but that looks so good.

I have made a couple of these covered stones and I agree with you that they are so beautiful, especially when grouped but quite fiddly don't you think?. I keep meaning to make some more but you know how it is..
The choccy brownies look delicious, something I haven't made but will have to see if I can find a recipe for gluten free one's.
Keep happy

Your rock covers are amazing. How did you ever think of that. a very unique rock "garden". For brownies and coffee oreo ice cream, I would stay in too. Yummm.

Your crocheted rocks are now an official collection. So pretty! What are you going to do with all of them? They would look lovely in a wide, flat-sided bowl on a table.

Sorry about the hot, wretched weather. Gee, I wouldn't have thought of Kuwait as humid. Thought it was dry, deserty.

Hotter and more humid than blazes here, too, Tammy. It's inside to the air conditioner and fan for me! But I do have to go out again today.

Hope you have a nice weekend, despite the weather. I know you will because you always find the ray of sunshine in the darkness, so to speak. Susan

Nice rock jackets! They make the rocks looks so elegant. Like they would be found in a early 1900's anthropologist's study.

How cool is that. Those crocheted covers for those rocks are really neat. Never seen anything like it. It sounds really hot there. Hope your staying cool.

Beautiful collection. I just can't fathom the heat you walk in. The grass is green. They must water the heck out of it at night. Does it cool down at all at night? I hope you have a dust free weekend!!!!!

Hi, Tammy,
Clever idea to create covers for your rocks. . . your collection is amazing! Brownies and ice cream are absolutely yummy, too. I can't think of a better way to spend your day. Sending loads of love to you~Vicki p.s. You said your decorating style was Bohemian style. I don't know if you go on pinterest but there is quite a bit of Bohemian style there.

I love those rock covers and I'm always picking up "stuff" on my walks...kindling for Winter and rocks and dried nuts or berries.
Those brownies look yum especially with the ice cream. I finished off my coffee ice cream. I need to lay low on desserts now after that cake...whoa nellie! My top fav ice creams are coffee, dulche de leche (caramel) and butter pecan. Have a great day!
