I finally tried a vegan pancake recipe I had written down awhile back.
2 cups wholewheat flour; 1 tsp baking soda; 1 tsp baking powder; 2 cups almond milk; 2 TBS canola oil. Stir until just blended then throw in extras.
I mashed one banana for mine then served them with all-natural peanut butter, chopped pecans and a drizzle of honey.
Zack had his with chocolate chips and powdered sugar.
And I finally did something with these rocks that were picked up on walks years ago.
I thought I would one day paint them, like the kids did with these small rocks when they were little.
Instead, I went the crochet route, using what I had on hand, making up a pattern as I went along.
My first crocheted stone makes me very happy.

Yea! Tammy! You did it! I knew you could...you know I adore crocheted rocks. I'm still trying to figure that out, but of course haven't had a lot of time lately to practice it. Love the crocheted butterflies too! Have a great weekend (the food always looks so yummy too!)
Hi Tammy!
They all look fantastic! The pancake, the chocolate chips, the crocheted stone! I also love the crocheted-butterfly decor in the first picture!

Your pancakes look so delicious, so do Zacks. The stones are much fancier dressed up in your beautiful crochet. Diane

Yummy pancakes and the choices of additions are limitless. What a great idea to crochet a rock cozy. Happy Creating...
I am loving your crochet'd rock. Just amazing!!!!
Dearest Tammy,
Your vegan pancakes look and sound delicious and above all; healthy! Guess instead of almond milk one could use soy milk.
Your crocheted rock-couture is super! That will look very special.
Love to you,
Mariette
What a fun idea, Tammy! I LOVE your crocheted stone! Your pancakes look yummy, too!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my friend!

Hi Tammy...The pancakes look good and the crocheted stones are darling! Unique, like you. Susan
I sure never heard of crochetd stones but HOW CUTE! What a creative idea! They are the perfect shape for that!
I LOVE peanut butter with maple syrup on my pancakes :)
Your pancakes look so yummy and especially with all the various toppings to choose from. Those little crocheted butterflies are so cute. How did you ever think of crocheting around a rock? Very pretty. I like that it is a light and open crochet in contrast to the solid heavy rock.
How fun is your crocheted stone!! What a creative idea!! xo Heather
Lots of deliciousness here - those pancakes sound delicious. I make mine with oatmeal.
How cute and useful is your rock cosy, perfectly decorative.
Enjoy the your creations.
I make similar pancakes with oats. Your moon photos are beautiful. I didn't even realize the moon was full. No wonder we had so many babies delivered yesterday at work! I always enjoy seeing all your creative projects. I too am thinking of returning to cross stitch. I used to love it.
Tammy, your crochet/rock project came out beautifully!! Love that. And, those pancakes are making me need to get up and head to the kitchen!! LOL! blessings ~ tanna
lovely stone :) I've been wanting to try those too...but right now I'm busy crocheting lots of jar covers.
The pancakes look delicious and I love the crocheted stones! Have a great weekend!
Your rocks are so lovely! What a great idea. I wish I could crochet and I would make some. We get these lovely black cobbles from the Oregon Coast and they would look lovely with white crochet. Have a great weekend! Kit
it feels so good to "finally" get something done that's been on the list for a while - especially if the results are so pleasing :)
love your crocheted stone!
Your crochet stone looks great and your pancakes sound yummy. Hope you are enjoying a great weekend. :-)
The pancake sounds yummy...and the rocks, what a great idea to crochet them.
The butterflies are beautiful. Is that a pattern you created?
Blessings always
Your crocheted rock is lovely! I am impressed you made up the pattern as you went along. I need a pattern to make anything.
I also think those painted rocks are adorable. I especially like the little smiley face one.
Hurray for ALL of your crocheted stones!!! (I perused your recent posts first and am working backwords) Looks like fun, making it up as you go along.
