Babas and Babies and Bears, Oh My!

Baba means father in Arabic. Happy Father's Day to all the men in your life.

I don't know why I spent so much time cleaning yesterday. It is a very blustery and dusty day here.

I was finally able to deliver the granny stripe to my friend Elena who had her baby on May 29th. Welcome to the world little Jana.

I crocheted this little bear doily some time back. It was supposed to have a fancy border, but I couldn't figure it out so just finished it off the best I could. I think it will make a nice baby gift framed on a solid colored mat.

Hope the weather is better where you are. Have a fabulous day! Friendship blessings, Tammy

I agree;I think you spend too much time cleaning. Love how you keep throwing around triple letter words...so...I will throw some back at ya. Beautiful, bright and breezy are what come to mind. Elena's baby is sweet. It was nice to see her today. Can't wait to see you tomorrow:)

Blessings Buddy,

Cute post title!

Hope hubby has a nice Father's Day....gosh your boys are getting big!

JANA is adorable and looks like she is enjoying her new blankie from Aunt Tammy! Lucky little baby!

Your dust is on a grand scale. It must be a constant battle. Yikes! Hope you get to go on vacation soon. Someplace 'dust-less'!

Happy day my friend.

Hi Tammy, wishing you a happy day also of the parents together! sure that it will, your gift for the new baby will be well appreciated and useful. So cute when he gets a new life around us and fill it with attention, pampering and details, especially love. Tell us that the weather is foggy, it happened to Mommy is in NY for three months with my brother and me that is just beyond the "cloud of dust," if not the same as that here in PR that are part of the ashes of a volcano of an island called Monserratte and the sands of the Sahara, believe me sometimes overwhelms us! and to limit us! because this was not here! Anyway I pray to God, this better, think beyond where you are is part of geography? Tammy greetings!

To tell the truth, I do not clean house like I used too! LOL! I decided I can live with a little dust here and there.

Love the photo of your family.

Stay cool.

Hi Tammy
Something I have not taken up is crocheting and I love it. Maybe someday. The blanket is beautiful and the doily is so cute but not as cute as that little one, so sweet.
Hope you had a good day with your family
Blessings

I think our weather may be much the same! 100 degrees and very windy here! Love that little baby blanket that you made. So precious. I wish I could crochet. For some reason I have this thing for granny squares lately. I would love to have a throw. Oh well, I've been sewing up a storm lately.

Hi Tammy....Hope your day was good. Nice of your hubs to pose for a photo, and your boys, too. Little Jana is a peach. Take care. Susan

Love your crocheted pieces. Baby seems to like the beautiful crocheted afghan. The colors are great for such a sweet little girl.

We too are having wind but thus far no dust storms. The wind is making it very difficult to fight all the wild fires. One friend's summer home was saved and now another's is in danger. So sad to see our beautiful forest and desert burning.

I too have posted a baby gift on my blog (a baby quilt).

Hi Tammy,
Well, it's finally like summer here in Nor Calif. In the 80s today and just gorgeous. I can't imagine the dustiness you have there. How nice is your gift for the baby - I love that little bear face in the middle. Happy father's day to the men in your life - have a great week!

Someone mentioned they don't clean house like they used to - me neither!! Sarah always says that it's a good thing we have company once in a while, because that's the only time it really gets clean, lol. Sad but true. ;)

Hope the dust clears up and that you have a nice week.

Hi Tammy, I love your crochet, especially the doily. I would love to learn to make those, but so far I only know how to do a double crochet. Wow, I'd say crochet & put your feet up...doesn't look like a good day to clean! LOL

I found it interesting that here in the Arab world, they have a day for Mother's Day, but not for Father's day. Funny, huh? I hope you treated Sam extra nice on Sunday.
Jana is lovely. I wish Elena had gotten into the picture with her. It has been a long time since I have seen her lovely face. Jana is making your blanket look wonderful.
The bear doilie is great. I think it would look great in a frame!
Hope you are enjoying your days...

Love,
Renee
