Wednesday Wishes

One of my favorite quotations is "Encouragement is oxygen to the soul."

The lovely Shane at Roses, Lace and Brocante recently passed along an award to me.

Next month will mark 2 years since I started blogging. I have certainly found it to be a very inspiring and encouraging journey and have "met" so many wonderful friends along the way.

I now approach the world with "eyes wide open".

My camera is with me wherever I go.

I appreciate the simple things in life more than ever.

I have tried new patterns, crafts, recipes -- so much I never thought about before.

This blog world is truly an amazing experience. I'm still in awe of the fact that we can connect within seconds from all the way around the world.

Speaking of around the world, our bags are packed and we are leaving today for a 10-day family vacation.

I stocked up on yarn to keep me busy while waiting and flying and riding.

I cannot believe that July is just around the corner. Summer is flying by.

I wish you all a great rest of the week and a happy July! Will check in with you in a couple of weeks. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy,
It brought joy to my heart tonight to click on your blog and see Wednesday wishes, since we're still sitting here on Tuesday in this part of the world :)

It's the marvel of blogging with friends across the world. How neat and wonderful is that, you're right.

I pray you have a safe, beautiful journey with your family and I look forward to your updates when you return.
Blessings always,
Linda

Congratulations, Tammy on your award. You are very deserving. Every thing you said about blogging is so true. I never would have thought, I would be blogging with someone from as far away as you are. I know more about your part of the world than I ever would have before blogging.
Have a wonderful vacation. Hope you get to go somewhere where it is a little cooler.

Oh Tammy...Have a FABULOUS vacation! We'll miss you.....a LOT. But we'll have a new part of the world to explore, through your eyes.

I agree with you. I think blogging is absolutely fabulous. Each day, I LOVE reading others' blogs and, of course, Writing Straight from the Heart is my deepest joy. Susan

Tammy, it really is amazing how close we are in spite of the distance that separate us. Closer in so many ways than we could ever imagine!
It is great to read your posts and see things through your eyes--and learn new things! We have a lot of those doves around here, we call them "rolas de Marrocos" which means Moroccan doves, probably because they come from there :) and guess what, I didn't know their name in English!
Have a wonderful vacation!

It does not seem possible that it has been 2 years since you started your blogging adventure. Time is flying by... I am happy that you made the decision to blog, as visiting you each day is a wonderful escape from the every day activities for me.
I smiled to see your yarn packed to go with you on your trip. Did you buy it at Ikea? It has a very Scandinavian look to the wrapper.
Have a wonderful trip. We are in San Antonio, and have had busy, wonderful first few days here. I have started cleaning, but have SO much more to do... I look forward to hearing about Napal!!

Happy trails, dear!!

Love,
Renee

I know I commented before but felt the need to do so again. I think it is so neat how starting a blog "opens" your eyes to many things....much like an artist, you are always looking, looking, looking. We use words like "blog worthy" in our household now! ha!!!!
