Hard to believe it's the last Saturday of the year.
This morning I met with my craft group at Soul Coffee Bar for some outdoor stitching.
Just 4 of us today as a lot of people have traveled for the holidays.
Except for the flies that are all over the place right now, it was a gorgeous day for sitting outside.
Gave our barista a coffee cup coaster before we left. I've got a bunch of them that I will be giving out in the new year, along with all the hearts I make.
Looking forward to many more crafty mornings and moments in 2019!
Have a good Saturday!

It sounds like a lovely time Tammy. I must admit to a bit of envy of your group that meets together so often. I always enjoy seeing the things that they’re making. Your coffee cup coaster is very cute and I’m sure the barista was thrilled to get it. Thank you so much for your comment on my blog about Amelia. It was very difficult. I keep saying I’m never getting any more animals because the goodbyes are too difficult.
Blessings,
Betsy
That is a cute coffee cup coaster, I am sure the barista likes it. Very appropriate. Is that common to see businesses with a name in English, like Soul, where you live? Enjoy your crafting in the new year.
Dear Tammy.. you know how happy I am for you that you have such a nice crafting community to spend time with. I've thought of starting one here in my little country town but am dubious to add another time commitment to my schedule with the swimming I do 3 days a week and 3 groups I have meetings with and then volunteering at the falls twice a month. But still.. the idea of crafting with others has such a draw for me. Love your coffee mug coaster!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Your coffee cup coaster is so cute and so appropriate! It is nice to have a break with mates between Christmas and New Year.
We have had a heatwave with temperatures in the high 30s and 40s (Celsius) in South Australia (100 - 116 F) so haven't been able to go anywhere, see anyone or do much being stuck inside in the air conditioning. If the weather is this hot in December, it doesn't bode well for February which is when we usually experience these extreme temperatures.
I worry that I won't have a garden left if these conditions continue unabated.
Oh well, one good thing is that when it is too hot to do physical work, I can sit inside under my fan with my crochet in hand!
Thank you for your friendship during 2018 with your supportive messages and patience even when blog posts were scarce.
Wishing you a happy new year, Tammy, and all the good things in life. xx
Your crocheted coffee cup is very lovely. Tammy. I'm sure the barista was amazed to receive a gift from a customer, especially such a beautiful one.
What a wonderful way to spend time...friends, crochet, sunshine! Sounds perfect, Tammie!

Ooo... I too am making some cup coasters! What a coincidence! And it is such a great gift! I have been away from my hook these past days because we are hosting a big New Year's Eve party at our home, lots of preparations going on, so crochet will resume in the new year :)
Dearest Tammy,
That sure was a sweet gift for your barrista!
Once more wishing you a Happy New Year's Eve and a Happy and Healthy 2019!
Hugs,
Mariette
Tammy - after Christmas, we made a trip to Ohio and our son took us to the Columbus Museum of Art. In one of the rooms, they had textile activities set up (for adults and kids) and the entrance to the room immediately made me think of you because it was covered from floor to ceiling with crocheted items. Watch for it in my next post!
