Met a couple of friends today for a nice walk along the corniche.
Lots of kitties were out enjoying the weather.
This is the first time I've seen these large water birds in this area. (Think they are cormorants.)
My friend, Melissa, helped me hang some hearts along the way.
The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls, too.

I love the idea of placing hearts along your route. What a ogre at idea.
Lovely views along your walk and those cats don't look so bad...they must catch some fish! Your lovely hearts! I cherish mine. You should have hung one on that barbed wire...that would be an oxymoron in physical form! LOL! Those hands, nails and jewelry were lovely too!
Hi Tammy.. thank you for sharing your walk along the seaside. I have a feeling you had a pocket full of cat food to share with those kitty cats. Very kind of you. How nice to have a friend help you spread love in the shape of crocheted hearts. I think that is just so cool. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I love your hearts
I love to see the kitties and I'm glad that they don't look too skinny. It's so sweet of you to leave so many hearts for people to enjoy.
Your hearts are beautiful and are sure to bring joy to the people who discover them along their path. Those do look like cormorants to me too. Such beautiful kitties. They look very happy sunning themselves on the rocks. Happy Monday Tammy!
Blessings,
Betsy
You have some beautiful photos. I love viewing your neighbourhood. Coastlines are always interesting. I too think those birds are cormorants.
Awwww....all those kitties...bittersweet. I hope they stay safe.
Yes, those birds do look like cormorants.
Love that you hung hearts along the way!
Enjoy the rest of your week ~ xo
Kitties and hearts - loved this post! I do wonder what people think when they come across your hearts … Do you ever go back to see if someone has taken them home?
Dearest Tammy,
Finally some time for reading blogs... Just got home today after singing soprano voice in the choir for Händel's Messiah. We performed this morning at a Church and this afternoon at the local theatre. LOVED doing this, such music is a piece of heaven.
Your walk looks so very special with nature all around.
Lucky for spotting Cormorants nearby!
Sad kitty faces... one wonders how they have to fend for themselves to even exist.
Sweet heart hanging and lovely photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
