Unwinding

We had a very foggy drive to school this morning.
A far cry from Friday's lovely walking weather.
Over the past two days, I've been slowly trying to make my way through all the participants in Vicki's Grow Your Blog party.  (Only a few hundred more to go :)
And after visiting with Heathe recently, I was inspired to use this heart pattern again to crochet some pretty little heart sachets.
My work at school has been so crazy busy lately that by the time I get home, all I want to do is veg.  So blog hopping and simple crochet projects are a great way to unwind.

Hope you are having a lovely day!

Your weather is quite changeable isn't it! Safe travels in this fog. Crocheting little hearts is a wonderful way to unwind. I too am enjoying Vicki's blog hop. There are so many it may take years to visit them all. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...

Tammy, thanks for stopping by A Nest on Feather Lane during the Grow Your Blog party. I've been following you for some time (but rarely commenting) and I always enjoy all the different foods you and your family enjoy. Also, how quickly you seem to whip up all those little crochet pieces. I like your living room, too. Cozy!
Come back to see me sometime. I'm encouraged to keep plugging along.

Gosh Tammy, we've had a lot of fog here, but I sort of like it for a change. I guess you don't see it very often there do you? Hope you get your nice "walking weather" back soon. Love your crocheted heart!

I have been reading some of the Grow Your Blog posts and so enjoy learning more about the sweet ladies behind their blogs...you, too!

You had a big swing in your weather, the same here, too. Warm on Saturday and freezing today. Brrrr!

I love the little heart. What a great way to enjoy some cozy time!

XO,
Jane

Hi Tammy,
We're still in the midst of our 3-day holiday weekend here, where it's a high of 15 degrees today. I'm glad that we're finally back to having normal winter/January weather and hope it sticks around. Some snow would be nice, but all we have is sunshine every day and as nice as that may sound - I actually long for the grey overcast days of winter.

At our house, Jim and I finished a painting/remodeling project in our bathroom and yes I did post a couple of photo collages on my blog, as meager as that is. I'm still not into blogging anymore, but I figure I'll post these occasional posts when the mood strikes.

Hope you have a nice new week,
Linda

That is really foggy! Wow. I always hate driving in fog. It's no fun at all.

Your heart sachet is so cute! Crocheting does sound like the perfect way to unwind. If only I knew how ;)

Looks like one of our foggy mornings! We live very near the Monterey Bay in central California, and fog is a common occurrence here, but I've never learned to like driving in it!

Wishing you the most wonderful day, dear friend!

We also had fog here today, (and for the last week or so). The fog can be beautiful, but also dangerous to drive in. Be careful out there.

Your heart is beautiful. I want to make a few more too as gifts for friends.

Blessings,
Betsy

Your heart sachet is darling. I'm ready for bed...I've been fighting a bug of some kind. I didn't know you got fog. Fog can be worse than anything! Be careful!

Hi Tammy...Pretty heart. I can identify with the hectic schedule. Blogging is soooo relaxing, isn't it? I love the people in blogland so much. Yikes! That fog would drive me bonkers...driving in it would be scary for me. Take care, my friend. Susan

Dearest Tammy,
It is with great pleasure to see you improve your crocheting skills over time. This heart looks just perfect and is lovely with the embroidered rose on it. Too bad you have such a dense fog... be careful on the road!
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Oh Tammy I love your motto

"who chooses to see the positive in every day, spreading joy as often as possible in the simplest of ways."

I am definitely taking that quote with me from your blog and am going to try to do the same

Thanks Anny :)

Such a pretty heart sachet. Fog really scares me when I'm driving. I'm kinda paranoid about that.
