Moments

If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.
Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Yesterday was a holiday so we are enjoying a lovely three-day weekend.
I love waking up early knowing that I have the whole day ahead of me to do with as I please.
Although today started with a colorful sunrise, within an hour's time, the weather quickly changed.
I haven't quite figured out yet whether it's fog or dust, but it certainly makes for a perfect pajama day.
Yesterday I did some much needed cleaning.
Not my favorite thing to do, but sometimes very, very necessary for peace of mind.
Of course, there has been more merry heart making.
And some baking, too.
My plans for today: enjoying every moment of a quiet day at home.

Have a fabulous Friday!

Sounds like a delightful plan to me, Tammy.

Love your decor.

And, of course, Jingles look like King of the Jungle! (Or is it Queen? Can't remember but I think it's King.)

Enjoy every minute! (I know you will!) Susan

Your home looks so cozy and Jingles looks like she's always ready for a nap. I missed a Jeopardy clue last night about Kuwait! Was really upset with myself. Have a wonderful weekend. Diane

I LOVE a perfectly relaxed day. There is something so luxurious about being at home and wondering room to room and puttering here and there and at the end of the day you are like jell-o. You had a perfect cantaloupe colored sunrise. Gorgeous!
Have a great weekend!

I love your photos, they are beautiful! Having some extra time is always nice! I've got so many things going on at all times, I believe I'm the only person I know who wishes she was bored. So on the very rare occasion that I get a day to relax and catch up on needed chores, I usually find myself sleeping. I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Kelly xoxo

So happy you have a 3 day weekend! Yippee! Me too! LOL! Is that the sun coming up or going down? Looks like you got up early and Jingles seems to be saying "aw come on...just a few more winks" although my new cat has been waking me up by jumping on me in the morning....hmmm....not good!
As for cleaning, yes, I get to where it's bugging me and then I do it but it has to be worthwhile....I need to see a difference in the before and after else it's not worth it! LOL!
Your hearts are so sweet. I need to order some supplies as in yarn and more. Yummy looking cookies too. Enjoy!!!

Dearest Tammy,
Great for having three days off; regardless the weather. Learn from Jingles where to linger...
Yes, cleaning is something that needs to be done but not the fondest way of spending time.
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Hi Tammy, Your photos are wonderful I especially love the sunrise one. It would make a nice watercolor. May I borrow it and give it a try?
I hope you have a beautiful weekend filled with joy and happiness. Just curl up with sweet Jingles.

I know what you mean about a day just to stay home. Yesterday was rainy and cloudy, a perfect stay at home day.

I love those hearts. I don't think I've ever crocheted hearts. I did buy a booklet to do crochet flowers. I'm making them for the Grands.

Enjoy your long weekend.

Hi Tammy, love all your pictures, but I think your cat looks like it's wearing sun glasses...HaHa.

You melt my heart with all your cute little hearts.

Baking...me too. I love it.

As a retired person, I just love the fact that I can stay home as much as I want, but I still get out to do other fun things like volunteering and lunches with sisters and friends. I have been dying to bake some cookies, those look delish. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I love that you are having interesting weather! I always enjoyed a change when I lived in Las Vegas (which wasn't very often) Now, this time of year the gray skies & rain makes it perfect for baking & crocheting! Always love seeing Jingles!

Reminds me of two things I have to do this week. One is fun and one is no fun at all. Baking cookies and cleaning the apartment. Guess what is what! ;/

Your cookies always looks so delicious. And I love looking at the beautiful photos of your home and cute Jingles.

Have a nice week!
