Quick To Do

Astri at Apple Blossom Dreams asked if I used a sharp hook.
Val at The Little Things asked if I crocheted the border first and then attached or if I crocheted through the towel.
This is what I did.
A simple running stitch across the bottom using cotton yarn.
Then I turn the towel so I am working right to left.
Tie in my color and crochet into each running stitch using single, double and triple crochet.
Sometimes chain stitches.
Whatever strikes my fancy.
And in under 30 minutes, I have a pretty little handtowel.
Quick and easy.
Like this basket.
Worked in rounds with the handle crocheted up from one side to the other where it is attached with  single crochet.

I've started another project which is taking a bit more time with all its fiddly parts.

Wishing you a happy, creative day!

Hi Tammy,
You are such an expert craftswoman. I love your creations! Beautiful!! :)

Thanks so much for your sweet comments on the blog. I appreciated reading each one.

Hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend in your part of the world! ♥

My sister and her family and the little ones are coming for a visit again, so there will be the backyard pool time, perhaps camping out if the heat lessens a bit, a campfire perhaps, and just lots of great family time.

Sarah unfortunately will miss it because she doesn't return home until Sunday, but she's not lacking in the fun department. She's having the time of her life in the beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee area.

Well, take care. :)

I always enjoy my visits with you because your always making something beautiful even in your kitchen.
These towels I love but no way could I do them in thirty minutes.
So that basket is crocheted too. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. Just lovely.
Sending you much love and wishes for a wonderful weekend.

Oh my gosh - that is such a great idea. I will have to use that for the little flannel blankies I'm going to crochet on for my nephew's baby. (I can't get my Sharp crochet hook to work right). Thank you so much. :)

You're amazing, girlfriend. I'm so anal...I have to have instructions written down in front of me preferably in large type! LOL!
What yarn did you use for the basket? It looks like it stands on its own and the handle stands up too. Very pretty! How did you do that? Amazing! Magic!

PS: Sorry for the double comment yesterday. With the first one, I got an error message and thought it wouldn't be processed. When I had written it again, the first one was published though.
