If you enjoy seeing where others create, then hop right on over to My Desert Cottage where Karen Valentine is hosting the 4th annual Where Bloggers Create blog hop. I'm up to number 23 on the alphabetical list in her sidebar and there are many, many, many more to go.
I don't have a designated space for crafting. Supplies are kinda all over the place -- in every room -- from shelves to cupboards, drawers, baskets, totes, boxes. Getting organized is on my to-do list which I haven't quite gotten to yet.
Last Saturday you would have found me crocheting pool side in Bentota, Sri Lanka.
These are the rocks I collected and crocheted while we were there.
Yesterday found me in a bit of a crafting frenzy, starting so many projects, finishing only a few.
I started a cross-stitch border for a towel.
A block design using yarn on large weave aida.
Finished a small gift bag.
Tried out a new granny square pattern found here at Wise Craft.
And crocheted my first ever border for a towel.
Today I shall be crafting and blog hopping my way through all those creative spaces.

Thanks for stopping by! I am like you - I have supplies stored all over the house. I have a little spot for
watercolor supplies and in the living room a small box that carries my papercraft supplies. I have always wanted to learn crochet-your things are very lovely. Have a great day!!!
You do lovely crochet and needlepoint work. I am pretty sure I would enjoy having a creative space poolside!

You have been busy creating and it's all lovely. If that was your craft area in the first picture it looks pretty organized to me and very cozy and "creative" looking. Mine I wouldn't take a picture of as I don't really have one except one cupboard I started organizing for it.
I can't wait to go visit all those others. I love that magazine "Where Women Create". It always has loads of inspiration and organization ideas in it. I'll never forget once, a painter used an empty dishwasher to hold her paints and canvases. The paint brushes went where the utensils were meant to go. Really amazing, talented people out there!
Wow! You've been crafting a lot!
I love that towel border!!! So pretty! Hop and we will enjoy!! blessings ~ tanna
Your needle work is lovely! My mom loved counted cross stitch. I buy all the pieces I see at thrift stores because I know the time and love it took to create it! Your crocheted pieces are lovely too! You're one talented girl! I'm now a follower. You have a fascinating blog!
Your supplies look so nice there! Love those rocks and new grannies you tried out! Looks like so much fun! I'm the same way things are in several rooms, and I've started projects and have so many I want to do...it's always a never ending list of crafty goodness! lol. Have a happy weekend! xx Holly

Such beautiful things --- and so dreamy to be able to crochet, poolside, in Sri Lanka! I love the things you are crafting. I envy those who have spaces to craft --- but I think my favorite crafting places are kind of like yours ---- anywhere and everywhere. I keep baskets with my projects in them. I often stitch or crochet while riding in the car, while at the cabin, or in my comfy living room chair while resting from housework. I hope you are having a great week-end!
Thank you for your kind words on my party post. How wonderful to be crocheting in Sri Lanka!

What beautiful work you do! Thanks for sharing your space!!
Hi Tammy,
Thank you for stopping by. We went to Sri Lanka on our honeymoon! We had a tour around the country with a driver and a guide and it was amazing.
I tried soy/rice and almond milk and the kids drink all three of them without a problem. We also have a smoothie every day and I have started to add some "milk" each time. This Soyabella was worth every euro!
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday.
Tammy you are wonderfully creative and your space looks quite organized to me. I love all your projects...especially the crocheted edging on the towel. Blissful...
Your creative space looks wonderful....lots of goodies to play with. My creative supplies tend to be here and there too...some in the lounge-room, some at my art desk and more in my bedroom. My sketch supplies can find themselves anywhere in the house.
LOVE all your creative projects, especially the towel border. Well done!
Somehow I missed getting signed up for WBC again for the 2nd year. It's great to see your creative space Tammy. Looks like a place that I could just sit down and start playing. But then again.....you work all over the world, too. Diane
You have busy with many craft projects. I love the crochet lace on the towel. Great job for your first attempt.
You've been very busy! I love all your projects. I love the cross stitching with yarn on large weave fabric...so very clever of you. :)
Blessings to you always
Wow, Tammy. You really are a crafter from the word "go." Good for you. Nice to make lovely things and spend time doing something we love. Susan
Hi Tammy. I love your crocheted rocks. Those would be so cool as a collection displayed in a basket or bowl. How blessed are you to be able to travel to all those exotic places. Hope you are having a wonderful time.
blessings,
Danielle
Busy hands are happy hands. And you are BUSY! Your work is always creative (love those covered rocks)!
We spent the day outside working on the post holes so have been slow to answer emails/blogs. I'll be in touch soon and send you a hug!

Take along crafts are the best - Love your crochet grannies and the pretty bag.
Like you I don't have a dedicated craft space but tend to just take it wherever I am. My supplies are all over the house too.
Enjoy the stitching.
I just enjoyed catching up on your travels. Sorry to hear your boys got sick. :-( Looks like you've been plenty busy with all your crocheting!
I am always amazed at how much you get done T and cook wonderful food and be a great mom to your boys. Yes, I would say you create all over the place : ) I haven't even made a dent in Karen's list either, but I will get there.

Hi Tammy!
I have a "To-do-list" here somewhere too. I just didn´t make anything about it... yet... I want to though.
To be honest your shelves on the photo looks well organized to me. I have som photos of my craftspace on my blog and I really enjoy looking at them because my room doesn´t look like that anymore. It is like a bomb detonated in there now. I afraid of going in tnere even!
Everything is in great piles and I am afraid they will tip over if I move in there...
I wish I will organize it this summer. I just have to get over my laziness first.
Hope you´ll have a fabulous week!
:)

My work is done all over the place - mainly in the living room and at the dining table.
You've got a lot of fun and pretty projects in hand there!
Aha ~ now I see why you liked my 'oceanic' printer's tray, and the blue wall colors I'm looking at ~ you've got them in your soul too!!!
I've had a great time looking at your blog ~ I'll be back to see more of your beautiful photography!

Tammy- my girl where have I been- so sorry it's been forever since I have come by- I think my follower link must have disappeared because your posts haven't been coming in my reader. I will have to fix that!
Love those crochet rocks and I think you have the best craft space - wherever you are it's with you in a box or bag. I try and do that alot- more in the winter for some reason- I think because we are in the car more maybe.
Loved reading about your trip to the see- did you pick up that great bottle at the beach?
Well it's late friend so better head to bed- will be back to catch up on all the posts I have missed.
bee blessed
mary
Oh by the way, you are welcom anytime to my creative space- you can even use it as your guest room too!
these are all lovely! Hey....is that a beer I see?
Hi Tammy,
Thanks for your kinds comments about my creative space. I mailed an issue of Artful Blogging to you today - let's see if it makes it to you and what condition it arrives. I think the postal lady said it takes 10 days. I love your seashore treasures - sounds like a fun time (and you're right, it's not everyday you see an elephant on the beach - at least here, that is!).
Have a great week,
Sharon :-)
