Craving Color

Monday's beautiful weather turned to dusty skies on Tuesday.  It's been drab and dreary ever since.
Today we met a friend at Viaggo's for lunch.
A bread basket comes with the meal along with diced tomatoes, cubes of parmesan and kalamata olives.  I had a rocca salad with shaved parmesan and sundried tomatoes, ricotta crepe with mozzarella and tomato sauce and rolled nougat ice cream with raspberry sauce for dessert.
A colorful, delicious meal on a day that is very gray.

I hope you  have a fabulous Friday!

Gosh! To think, you have to breath that dust in. It can't be too healthy. I've met Salma too, through flickr, who also lives in Kawait. She talks about this phenomenon. Do you wear something over your face?

Yes, it's Friday again. We are just starting our day here in the states. Your lunch looks very delishious & so colorful.

Have a great weekend!

Look at it this way, at least you are not experiencing deadly tornadoes like the southern part of my state did two days ago. I'll take grey, over severe storms anyday.

I've written about 12 posts I think since we last corresponded.

Hope you have a nice weekend,
Linda

Dearest Tammy,
Since I am working on my very fine counted cross stitching, after years, I've been thinking about you a lot. We need light and sunshine for doing crocheting or cross stitching!
Hope you will find some pleasure in crocheting tomorrow on your off day!
Love to you,
Mariette

Yummy looking meal! I was in Chicago last weekend for a wedding and the skies were so gray. It is hardly ever like that in Southern California so it made me count my blessings for blue skies. Although, when I lived in Honduras, I loved dark days because it brought relief room the overbearing heat.
Have a great weekend.

You have the most incredible restaurants where you live, Tammy! The day may have been gray, but the meal was most colorful! :)
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Oh, that looks delicious, Tammy! We sure have had wind here the last few days (it literally "wears me out" listening to it, even from inside; but no dust, thank goodness) but thankfully no more tornados (fingers crossed)...

Hello, friend,
I know how those dusty days go. I grew up in the desert of southeastern NM. That delicious lunch cheered the day up I am sure. Crepes are my favorite and that dessert looks scrumptious!Have a blessed Sunday. Vicki

I spy pesto and pistachios in that gorgeous meal ... such a nice counterpoint to the cheery red.

Hope the dustiness has cleared up.
