Gozleme and Dishcloths

Last weekend I came across a recipe for homemade gozleme posted by Vera at small things simple pleasures.  I had not heard of gozleme but thought it looked very similar to the fatayer we are able to get here, so today I gave the recipe a try.
Really so easy to make.  I fried one in a bit of olive oil but then decided to bake the others.  Hubby said he liked the baked ones best.
I will definitely be making these again and will try out different fillings.

The rest of the day has been spent crocheting dishcloths.  Patterns can be found here.

Tomorrow I shall clean.  Just a little.  Maybe.

Hope your Friday is fabulous!

Those are beautiful dishcloths! And I've never heard of either of those things but they look like a Pizza-filled thing that I've had before and liked.

A happy weekend to you and I'm out of here in just 45 minutes, off to enjoy an entire 9 days off of bliss. :)

We have something similar in this part of the world called "gomleze" looks like a relative to yours although the method of preparation is totally different.
Your crochets are amazing!

Hi Tammy....The turnovers look like Spanish "empanadas." They have meat/potato filling that is quite delicious. But your vegetarian one looked yummy, too. Ohhhhhh, that crust looked good.

Your crocheted potholders are darling, too.

May your Saturday be terrific! Susan

They remind me of pasties. It seems that every country has a form or other of that. I'm a fool for pasties!! Beautiful crochet Tammy.

Your crochet cloths are gorgeous - love the pink and blue one.
The moon photo's from last week are amazing - we had overcast skies with storms for most of last week so he didn't show his face around here.
Enjoy your weekend.
