Another Rescue

Neither the moon nor the sun were visible today.  We have dust that has settled in like a fog around everything.
A few days ago, another white Persian showed up on our street.  She is very sweet and obviously had been booted out by her owners.  My outside kitty was none too happy when new kitty came along and took over her sleeping basket.  I set up a separate box for new kitty last night, but thankfully today was able to take her to one of our teachers who fosters and works with the shelter to get these cats adopted.  This kitty will get a good cleaning, be spayed and I hope she will find a forever home.
It's been a busy day.  A sweet treat and a moment to relax was definitely in order.
I hope all is well in your corner of the world.

what a sweet face, it must be so hard to let her go. At least she knew the right place to come to. I bet the sand gets a bit tiresome, there must be so much cleaning to do after a sand storm. There is so much cleaning to do with all the pollen here in Florida, everything is green, my outdoor furniture, my car, absolutely everything.
Have a wonderful day,
Meredith

It is beyond me how anyone can abandon an animal. I'm glad you're their advocate!

I hope someone will adopt her. She looks like such a sweetheart.

We have dirt, leaves, etc blowing all over the place here too! Even the little birdies are getting blown sideways whilst flying!

Happy Week!

Have a great week; yours started already though. We changed our time last night so it's indicating that summer is coming along.
Love to you,

Mariette

Lucky kitty that you are going to get her taken care of. I have a persion and she would die outside, she has always been an indoor cat.
I wonder if the one you found was indoor only. That really stinks that she was put out.

Oh Tammy, that white Persion kitty is so pretty. Oh, how I hope she gets adopted. I'd be so sad to see that. Take care and watch out for that dust. Sounds awful. Susan

I'm so glad that cute kitty found its way to you, Tammy. I hope she finds a loving forever home.

I would hate the dust storms if I lived there...it would bring on asthma.

I've had a rough week but, hopefully, this week will be much better.

Relaxing with a sweet treat and tea sounds heavenly! xo

Bless your heart for being kind to the kitties that visit you. If we all did-there wouldn't be any such thing as strays.
I don't think I could handle the dust storms. I won't complain about my rain again. ;)
Have a peaceful week.
Hugs,
Sonya

God bless you for your kindness towards the helpless. ♥ Hope you have a great new week and that the dust parts soon.

Rainy and very warm here - in the 70s all of this week. Crazy good. Of course, I'm already looking forward to the end of the week because that begins our spring break.

Love, Linda

When I look through your blog, I feel lazy. Have not done anything creative in a while. I just wasn't in the mood. But now I am starting to get ideas for a head start on Christmas gifts. I don't even bake like you do, well I try to keep the sugar out of the house. As I type this , we are under a tornado watch, had a thunder storm roll in quite fast. We had a good time at the cabin. I won some money at a raffle at a club up north. I never win anything so it was quite a surprise. Ta for now. love, Gwen

Poor thing...I bet when she gets some proper care she will be beautiful. We have an Animal Rescue here also and they adopt them out all over the U.S. It's amazing and wonderful. Good luck to her!
