Friday Fun and Finishes

I hope that everyone is having a fantastic end to their week. Friday morning started our weekend with Zack having a 9 am scrimmage game, and this time they won! Woo-hoo! He had 2 RBI's in the second inning, and 3 RBI's in the 3rd inning. Hard to keep score when you are hootin' and hollerin'. The final score was 9-5 :)

It's a cloudy and cool day here in Kuwait. There was drizzle off and on even during the ballgame but the players didn't mind at all.

Yusef and Zack decided they just wanted to stay home today so Sam and I went off to lunch for Indian food and brought back takeout for the kids.

I laid down for a bit as I had a headache and have just been crocheting the rest of the day.

This will be a garland for my friend's daughter who turns 6 on the 14th. Thought it would be cute for her to hang in her bedroom which has been redecorated in red, yellow and orange. Tomorrow I will need to get some ribbon to string it up.

I am still waiting for Sam to get the Christmas decorations down so I can get the tree up. Hopefully tomorrow I can get going with that and some of the baking I want to get started on. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Peace & blessings, Tammy

Happy weekend to you! :) I've had a headache all day today as well - just sort of a nagging, sicky headache; but with also lots to do, I have to keep moving and doing.

This is our Christmas get-together weekend at my parents house (next door). My three sisters and their husbands and children will be coming down for the day tomorrow and we will have our Christmas with them. It will be a fun-filled, hectic day. Sunday, is my daughter's Birthday party with friends which is really just hanging out at the mall (that's what they do nowdays on these teen parties), dinner out, coming back here for Creme Puff dessert and presents.

Hope however you spend the weekend, it's wonderful. :)

Hi, Tammy,
Please tell Zack that I said "Congratulations" to him and his team on their win. I think your friend will love the garland for her daughter's room. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who hasn't got their tree up. Hopefully, tomorrow I will get it done. Have a happy weekend and much love to you! Vicki

Sounds like a very nice day...except for the headach...ouch! Sometimes when I do too much close up work I get a headach. Congrats to Zack for a winning game and to you and hubby for getting away for a bit...have a good one!

I loved this post, Tammy. I also loved the image of you in the doorway. You are such a pretty lady. That was funny that your little guy thought the donkey's were too stinky to ride. The camels looked neat. Don't see many of those here inthe states. COngrats on the winning of the bal game. It's nice sometimes to have a meal alone with your hubby.
I too enjoy those candid shots. I have one of my husband and his brother with their girls (daughters, not wives ;D) on their shoulders walking ahead of me and the girls are holding hands. It is such a sweet shot.
Hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Xo,
Tammy

YEAAAAAHHHH!! Go Zack. Had wanted to go walking but was weary of the rain on Friday. Yes, it was a beautiful day and have been catching up on things I wanted to do such as baking goodies for Xmas. Can't say they are all Xmasy but who cares, they will be yummy and nobody will notice as lond as their tummy is happy.
Mmmmm...need to go to Taal again but probally not anytime soon, or at least until I get back from Dubai. Can't remember if I told you I was going or not on the 19th til 22nd of December. I will be thinking of you while I'm there and we must get together to exchange our Xmas goodies when I get back. Chow.
