Along the Way

Walks. The body advances, while the mind flutters around it like a bird.
Jules Renard

It's amazing how 90 degrees feels cool after summer temperatures of 120+.
For us, this is perfect walking weather and will only get better.
A little something I brought home.
One crocheted cover coming up.

Have a beautiful day!

I like this definition of walks, and I can see how a drop of 30 degrees feels cool, well, cooler.

Hi Tammy....Have to chuckle as you talk about cooling down at 90 degrees. As I write, I'm fr-fr-fr-freezing. My fingers are cold on the keyboard. I have a couple shawls over my shoulders and socks on my feet.

Winter's coming to the northeastern part of the United States. It's only November, but I"M C-C-C-C0LD!

Glad you found your newest rock. Have fun crocheting a "coat" for it. Susan

Dearest Tammy,
Good for you for having such temperatures with lower humidity for now. Those grayish-green looking palms are so beautiful! Ah, your rock is a perfect one for receiving a crocheted lace net!
Hugs to you,
Mariette

I can't imagine 90 feeling cool - that's for sure hot to us. NO more temps like that here until next year... onto the winter now. Relatively pleasant weather though for Illinois - highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s.

Hope you enjoy a nice new week. I'm looking forward to one more day of weekend here... it's the usual Saturday night at our house -noisy - the girls are having a sleepover here and there's rowdy dancing going on in the garage party space... probably another night to the wee hours for sure.
Blessings,
Linda

I'm liking joining your walks Tammy, I shall think about you when I head out today.
My mum collected rocks to paint and would have loved your crochet covers.
Have a great week.

Is it wrong that I am jealous of 120 degrees? (I can't even remember what heat feels like)! Beautiful pics!

It must be nice to have a drop in temperature anything above 30 degrees and it's too warm for me but since I live in Queensland during Summer we have many more warmer days than that but nothing like the temperatures you get. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. :)

I love going on your walks with you even if it is through photos. It's nice this week here, 70's but next week they're saying it's all over with! LOL! Lower temps and rain but I love it all...the Summer is the hardest for me with day after day of sunshine and high temps. I like variety in my weather but not any "Sandy's" as in hurricanes!
