Over Before it Began

For today and its blessings, I owe the world an attitude of gratitude.
Clarence E. Hodges

Today began with a glorious, golden sunrise.
And then just sped by in the blink of an eye.
Yesterday my collected rock got its cozy cover.
And there was progress on a baby boy blanket.
But today it was all work, work, work.

I hope your Sunday is slow and relaxed.
Best wishes and blessings,

  1. Sorry about the work, work, work. I am crazy tired today, so I spent a brief time in the garden planting petunias, reading and soon a shower and knitting.
    Hugs to you,

  2. Glorious sunrise! and there is nothing like a crochet covered rock, is there? :-)

  3. Bless you, you made my day!! :)

Love the cozy on the rock! brings a smile ... and the surface that it's on? WOW!

  4. Oh how well you described life for most of us.. awakening with a whole day ahead of you.. and then.. time for bed. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  5. So glad that it's
    cooled down enough
    to allow you the
    pleasures of walking
    and taking photos
    outside, Tammy. I
    hate that my days
    fly by so quickly,
    and want to hit
    the pause button!
    But....that's life....
    Have to work harder
    at seizing the little
    moments, I guess : )

    Have a wonderful

    xo Suzanne

  6. Some days just pass so quickly and involve work, work, work. Love the crocheted rock cover and the baby boy blanket. I spent a little time catching up with you this afternoon, as always I enjoyed my visit.

  7. Glorious Sunrise and so much to be grateful for. Slow and relaxed is exactly the Sunday I have been enjoying. May your work week pass with the blink of an eye. Blessings...

  17. Tammy that is such a beautiful quote, there is so much in the world to be grateful for. That sunrise is absolutely stunning. May your week be a wonderful one, I hope you get a chance to do a little relaxing and not so much working. :)

  18. such a beautiful sunrise... it always amazes me how quickly it rises and sets... almost magical. love your rock covers! and look forard to seeing that baby boy blanket finished! xoxo ~ tanna

  19. I like your picture of the sunrise.
Your crochet pebble is a nice gift idea, I notice your tension on the granny squares are so much neater than mine Tammy, i wounder if the quality of wool is an issue for me, I know I don't make my stitches as tight as I used to. More practice I guess.
Try not to work to hard now.
    best wishes Julie.C
