Happy White Wednesday and a little red

I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday. This sweet little angel was given to me by a friend many years ago. Inside the box is my February birthstone (amethyst).

The picture on the left is of me in August of 1967 watching the dolphin show in Biloxi, Mississippi . In the picture on the right, I am holding my baby brother for the very first time in November of 1967.

Be an angel to someone else whenever you can, as a way of thanking God for the help your angel has given you. ~Quoted in The Angels' Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman, 1994

My previous post is about our 4th grade class spearheading a collection for Haiti victims.

And here's a little red -- tomatoes that I found today when I went out to water plants on our balcony.

One of the most delightful things about a garden is the anticipation it provides. ~W.E. Johns, The Passing Show

Thanks so much for checking out my blog and for your very sweet comments. I've been reading yours and enjoying how beautifully it's laid out and your posts. Your post on Baby Beans had to make me laugh. My daughter - who made the bowls for me - is now 39 and her nickname is Bean. I remembered that some way we made the connection between her Baby Beans and her and it's stuck with her every since.

Tammy, love those whites and reds. Another blogger friend had a tomato sandwich on their post today and I am just craving tomatoes, the only problem is the ones we have here in the winter time are pretty much tasteless, can't wait for those summer tomatoes.

Lovely sentiments as always and great photos. :)

Gardening.... I'll be doing that by May. Right now, it's a blanket of white everywhere and very cold.

Hope you have a lovely remainder of the week. Thursday will be my first day of work this week due to illness and the snow days. A short week for sure. :)

Hi, Tammy,
Your angels are so sweet! I, too, love angels. I especially love your quote about angels. I know I have had many helping angels throughout my life. Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend! Sending lots of Valentine love your way! Vicki

I love the fact that you have so many old pictures of you when you were small. My mom and dad were not people who took pictures of us kids often.
Your tomatoes look amazing. I am dying to know what you made to put them in. Something yummy, I am sure!!
Hope you had a good Wednesday!!

Love
Renee

Hi Tammy!
Thank you so much for coming over to my blog. Now, I know about you, so I signed up to follow you.
I am so glad that you like Gwendolyn's pillow.
I think when I was creating the pillow that it already had her name on it! She's so sweet.
I like your angels and the picture of you holding your baby brother is so cute.
Those tomatoes sure look yummy.

I'll be back to see you soon.

hugs
Sissie
