My Kind of Day

My day consisted of
coffee and crochet in the morning.

A new restaurant for lunch.

Nice weather for dining outside with a view of the Kuwait Towers.

The sound of a trickling waterfall and a view of the sea.

A delicious goat cheese salad.

And porcini risotto. Yum!

Zack's ballgame at 3 pm. This time they didn't need a pep talk as the final score was in their favor 13-8.

Visiting friends this evening bearing gifts.

And now the day is done.

**********
My birthday is in exactly two weeks from today. Tomorrow, I have a surprise to share about where I will be celebrating!

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday! Warm wishes, Tammy

That sounds like a beautiful way to spend the day! That risotto looks so good! I've never tried risotto before, but I think I might.

may i admit that i am fascinated by your life in kuwait? it is so far away and yet the things you talk about sound like you could be the next town over. i'd love to know more about what it's like living there or how you got there. i hope i don't sound nosy; i'm just curious. blogging makes the world a smaller place -- in a good way.

It's bright and early this Saturday morning and I'm in good spirits. Just love getting up before the kids. Started with coffee yesterday. Can't say I was as productive as you, but did enjoy a nice couch potato session watching season 6 of medium after taking out Nasser. I thought you were going for Thai but I see you found a new place that I didn't even know about. I take it from the location that it's right after the Towers. It's always nice when the weather cooperates and having the smooth calm effects of water soothing the soul. A day spent well. Go Zack!! Nice to see all had a great day.
My wish for you today is......rest....we all need it and don't always have to do something. Sometimes nothing is just as pleasant:)

your day sounds just wonderful. I am happy to know you were able to have some nice quality time to get some crafting done. Lunch looks fantastic. Where were these places when I was there???? The baseball team looks like it is getting things together. YEA!!

I had a NASTY headache yesterday that left me wanting to cry. I hate it when I am dizzy. It was not all bad - it gave the the excuse to lay on the couch, read, cross stitch and really just take it easy. I never do that, so it was not such a horrible day after all. The headache is still here, but no longer dizzy, so i won't complain too much!!

Hope you had a nice evening with Sana!!

Love,
Renee
