Over the weekend I decorated gift bags and monogrammed them -- for Mona, Melissa and Leslie. Of course, there were surprises to be found inside the monogrammed bags. :) The tin finally made its way to Leslie with the card I made with chocolate quotes and stickers. And I got my own surprise today from my boss and his wife -- handmade earrings from Novia Scotia. I need to pick out clothes for tomorrow to match my new earrings!
Hi Tammy! I have to tell you...I was "lurking" through YOUR blog and all in the middle of me reading through some of your August's posts...you changed your background on me! I freaked! It's cute though and perfect for the Fall. I loved reading all about you...you are sooooo far away! Kuwait? for real? How did ya end up there??? I see you travel back to America to see your family also. Thanks for the visit...I appreciate the sweet comment! And thanks to Gwen for getting you online and blogging. Don't ya just love it? I love all of your little quotes, some are just so refreshing!!!! I hope you have a wonderful week and keep in touch! everything vintage
ps...I see you are a teacher! Please don't look at my grammer! ;)
Thanks so much for checking out my blogging and writing back. I have such computer problems sometimes so didn't even really know if my message got through to you. I have seen so many interesting blogs out there and your's is one of them. I have so much to learn. Yes, I am in Kuwait -- but I grew up in the South (US of course) -- mostly Texas and Louisiana. Aren't you in Louisiana? I used to live in Slidell. Good to hear from you. I don't even know if you will read this again, but thanks for your comments.
YOU HAVE BEEN QUITE THE BUSY BEAVER! I TOOK SOME YARN UP NORTH WITH ME, BUT WAS BUSY RIDING THE BIKES AND DIDN'T SPEND MUCH TIME ON IT. KNITTING. HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I DID THAT, OVER CROCHETING. TAKES ME LONGER. LOVE YA!
You are getting more creative all the time. I am certain that Mona, Melissa and Leslie loved your surprises, and it is fitting that you had one waiting for you today from your boss. Seems that you really do get out of life what you put into it!! Keep crafting, my friend!! It is SO much fun to see what you are doing! Love, Renee

Yes we did love our surprises, as always. I just can't keep up with this women but when I do, I've had to work double hard because she's worth it.
