Ever have one of those days that just flies by and you don't know how it happened? Well, that's how this day went for me. Sam and I went to Friday Market this morning. It's like a huge flea market with old and new stuff. I managed to come away with a few things.
This bowl was made in Japan.
This one hails from Greece.
And I bought the cushions for the extra bed in the kids room. They are diwaniya cushions with Sadu-style fabric. I've decided to give their room an ethnic look as right now it is all just mish-mash. Next step is to find a bedspread.
We all went to lunch, I piddled around the house, made more Mexican Wedding Cookies to take to some friends Sam wanted to visit this evening and all of a sudden the day is gone and it is time to go to bed. Hope everyone is having a great day!

I love that Sam likes to go to flea markets with you. Omar and I have not done that in a long time. You found some great things. Go with Kathy next time and see if you can get some good deals. Your Friday of time flying by sounds like my EVERY day. I just don't know where the time goes. Good luck getting up for work tomorrow!!!!!!

I haven't been to that place in a long time. Need to get myself over there. Seems to be some interesting things there to get. Did you know what you were getting or did you have a plan. I've always wondered where to get those Sadu style cushions. Might just got there to grab some.
I would love to be along on one of your shopping trips sometime! In spirit anyway!
