Lazy Day

My youngest son gave me the title for today's post.  It has been a lazy day indeed.
A mostly cloudy day spent hanging out around the house.
Yesterday hubby surprised me with a few roses.  He said they were to cheer me up after the car incident.  I saw lots of lovely crocheted roses around Valentine's Day and for some reason thought they would be difficult to make.  But this morning, I crocheted my very first little red rose.  So very easy after all.
I've worked on a few other things throughout the day but have had a nagging headache since I woke up this morning.
I think I'll be turning in early tonight.   Zack took this picture of Jingles, thus the "lazy day" title.  No one does lazy better than a cat.

Happy Friday!

That was a kind gesture of him! :)
Hope you are feeling better now. I have to read your blog because I have not been reading it for a few days so I don´t know anything about your car accident... Sounds no fun at all. Thank God you are ok anyway.
Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings

I spent some time catching up and see you had a car accident, no fun at all. Such a sweet gesture, the beautiful flowers. I love the crocheted rose too. Lazy days are something we all need, I have had quite a few lately and my cat Lily has joined in.

Oh Tammy, your lazy Jingles is such a sweet & pretty girl! And I also like your crocheted rose - I think it is as pretty as the real red roses and probably more durable. (But roses from hubby of course, have a special status :o)) Perhaps you also want some Traude-flowers? ;o)

The sky scenes are just gorgeous. I hope you will use them to paint from. They'd make beautiful canvases.

How good of your DH to bring you roses. Almost makes the incident worth it, eh? No? ;) J'adore your crocheted rose! Tres jolie.
Really, I'm not trying to sound like a copycat but, I had a headache all day yesterday, too. From the moment I woke up 'til I went to bed...and I took remedies all day. Wonder what's up with that?
Hope you feel better today, Tammy. Hugs~
